I'm 25 years old and recently moved back to LA. I'm an Art Director at an Ad Agency and am easy to get along with and love to just relax and have fun. I love to cook and have a few drinks with friends.
I just saw your review, and I would have liked to think that had you had any issues with my stay, that you would have brought it up with me, instead of later on writing a negative review.
As for your point of having a lot of cars at the house, and your assumption that there were more people than agreed upon staying there, your accusations are false. All of my friends are working professionals, and drove their own cars out after work on Friday. Therefore, one person to each car plus my friend you mention who arrived with me, would total 5 cars. I also had a few friends who came to spend the day to celebrate my birthday on Saturday who were staying at a nearby hotel. Not in your house. They went out with us Saturday night and we all took cabs from the house. In order to avoid them doing something irresponsible and dangerous like drinking and driving, they left their cars at the house at the end of the night and took a cab back to their hotel.
As for towels, yes towels can accumulate quickly. Between showers, swimming and laying out by the pool, it's not surprising there were so many. And if you remember correctly, I offered to put them in the laundry for you so you didn't have to worry about it. However, you said to just leave them in the laundry room.
And as for check out, yes I originally said 2pm on Sunday. But it seems you also forget that upon arrival, you said that 3pm would be ok. So by that standard, we were actually ready to go earlier. If you wanted us out by 2pm, all you had to do was say so, and we would have happily been ready to go. And it did not interfere with any other check out you had, because I called you and you said to just go ahead and clean up and head out. This is exactly why I didn't like the idea of that, since I was unable to do a walk through of the apartment and address any concerns you had.
Quite frankly, I couldn't care less if you believe me or not. But after seeing your passive aggressive way of handling this review, I felt you should at least hear the story.
