I am a graduate student in the Master of Library Science program in Archives at the University of Maryland. Currently, I am spending a summer abroad participating in two study abroad programs as well as traveling.
For the first, through the middle of June, I'm living in Florence, Italy studying the culture, art, and paper conservation. The second one starts the beginning of August in Edinburgh, Scotland and I'll be following a performance group at the Fridge Festival. For the six weeks in-between, I'll just be moseying northward.
I am easy going and love meeting new people as well as traveling. This is my first time in Italy and I am looking forward to seeing many neighboring places outside of Florence. Fluently, I only speak English, but I am working on my Italian and French with hopes to be able to converse soon. I am a neat and tidy individual and don't need much to survive - just good conversations, experiences, and a place to rest my head every now and again.
