Communication with Paul was great. He did try to mail me the keys, but they were lost in the mail. He did try to set it up so that his friend could hand me the keys.
I met with her and she handed me the keys to the apartment. I had no idea that the keys she had given me were both the same. I handed the keys to my guest who was staying at the apartment and also gave him Paul's contact information.
However, when my guest arrived at the apartment he could only get into the building, but not to the apartment. He tried calling Paul, but he wasn't available. He wasn't happy about not being able to stay at the apartment for that first night.
I had tried to reach Paul the next day and he was able to arrange it so that his cleaner would provide me with a set of keys.
My guest was happy that the keys worked. He stayed there with no problems. The returning of the keys was a bit last minute as my guest had an early morning meeting and couldn't meet with Paul for the handover of keys. Paul set up a place to drop off the keys.
Paul's place was a great home base while I stayed in San Francisco. His place was conveniently located in the Marina, within walking distance of great restaurants and shops. His place was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. Paul was easy to communicate with and I would recommend his place to anyone.
Paul was a great guest. Him and his friends were very clean and respectful of the place. We enjoyed having them as guests and we hope they use us again in their future trips to SF.
