Short bio: Minneapolis writer with an MFA in poetry, traveling to Europe before staying in Glasgow to attend a film workshop and make my first short film.
More info: I have a published book of poetry, two more forthcoming in the next few years. My most recent work experience is a graduate assistant assignment at UMN, where I taught creative writing classes and freshman composition.
I am a very considerate guest and traveler, like to pack light, and I always have a book or two with me. Currently, I am working on a fiction book project and improving my photography skills. (I look forward to the wonderful shoots I will be doing in Europe!) I'm most excited to meet different people during my travels, to drink in the sights, and gain some meaningful understanding of each place I visit. I've lived in Singapore as a child, traveled to China as a young adult, and toured the United States as an author. I have basic Mandarin speaking skills and know some rudimentary french.
