Craig and Patricia were great hosts. They really went over the top to make my girlfriend and I feel welcome (gave us wine, breakfast, and this really good sparkling water!) We had an unexpected medical issue that cut our stay short, and they refunded us for our second night and gave us information on where to go in town. The house is a fantastic deal for the price, and it's tucked away in the woods with a clear view of the night sky.
Craig & Patricia welcomed us warmly! We learned so much about American culture when we stayed at your place and talked to you - thanks for explaining! The best was: Patricia gave us tons of really good recommendations for snow-shoe-ing and dining. We loved Shasta City - thanks.
I enjoyed my stay with Craig & Patricia. They were hospitable & gracious. Patricia helped me find hiking trails that I LOVED! The house was nice & the room I stayed in was big. I would stay here again if ever in mount Shasta
The house is very nice, custom designed, brand new，surrounded by woods, quite neighborhood. Craig and Patricia are friendly and helpful, giving us lots of local suggestions. Fireplace is nice. We got a clean guest room on first floor. We wish we can come back definitely.
Craig is gentle, and we got to treat several times delicious cake of his handmade. We were also blessed with a valuable opportunity that the bonfire under the starry sky. Recommended for traveling alone. Thanks.
It was a really beautiful spot and Craig and Patricia were super sweet. We loved having a fire in the fire pit and roasting some marshmallows! We highly recommend their lovely house.
Yes. The listing description was accurate. Our Host made us feel welcome by waiting for us. When we called because we had missed the house, he came out to get us! He had a fire waiting for us (it only needed to be lit) and two beautiful chairs all ready to look at the stars once evening came. He sat with us and answered all of our questions. He made us feel like part of the family and not like paying guests. Craig made us a delicious berry shortcake (which my husband is still talking about), and he and Patricia shared fellowship with us while we ate the YUM! Cake and a glass of wine.
We really loved having you stay and hope you can come again next summer. Maybe we can all sleep under the stars next time -- we are thinking of getting some hammocks!
This was an EPIC place to stay.. quiet.. CLEAN and comfortable.. three nights of luxury. Lovely home and very nice host! Spent 3 days and enjoyed every minute! Like a $200 a night resort.. only better as Craig was around most of the time and took me to town and introduced me to the Organic Market and Cafe! Love the area and would come back again to Patricia and Craig's home.
Beautiful home and wonderful hosts. Our stay was great and I highly recommend staying here!
Craig & Patricia were great hosts! Upon arrival, Craig had freshly made scones & shared his decadent home-made chocolates with us. The room was private & comfortable & we had our own bathroom. The back porch faces woods & they have a fire pit. The two cats were super cute, when they came out to visit. Their house is off the beaten path but really centrally located to Mt. Shasta city center & surrounding sites. It was easy to come & go. This is a high-vibrating, energetic place. We had some interesting conversations about spirituality & our life paths. Great price for the area too.
It was a pleasure hosting Stephanie and Jim. They would be welcome back anytime!
Thanks, Al. My name is Patricia, actually, but you can call me Stephanie if you want to! Seriously, no worries. We had a great time!
We did not meet Craig, but his partner, Patricia visited us along with a friend of theirs, Jim. Patricia and Jim had a very busy schedule and were out and about much of the time. They were friendly, responsible guests and were very considerate, communicative and took great care to leave everything in perfect order. Very much appreciated!
Craig and Patricia seemed to be a nice couple. They were clean and obeyed the house rules.
It was Patricia Schaefer who stayed
It was her second visit and she is a perfect guest
This review is for Patricia and Jim, friends of Craig who stayed at my house for 2 nights. They were 2 very interesting people and I thoroughly enjoyed their visit.
Thanks, Vicki -- We loved staying with you! You made us feel right at home in Sebastopol -- so much so, as you know, I'm now house-hunting in the area! Much love!!!
Patricia is an airbnb host too and is very considerate, understanding both sides of the equation. She was not around much and I got to talk to her at the very end of the trip and then wished I had found more time she is very interesting!
she was neat, clean, quiet and appreciative.
Patricia was a great guest and we would welcome her return.
It was a true pleasure to have Patricia in my house. As an Airbnb host herself, she understands what it's like to be a guest in someone's home. She was extremely considerate, quiet, responsible, and clean, even stripping her bed and cleaning up after herself when she left. and more than that, she's an interesting, smart, independent, and personable lady. You'd be lucky to have her choose you as her place to stay.
Patricia is a companionable house guest, independent and considerate. Quite perfect.
Patricia is a fun and interesting guest, and as an Airbnb hostess herself, she knows how to be a good guest. She is a multi-talented lady and will be a thoughtful guest in your home. I look forward to having her return.
