Arielle was a wonderful host, we felt very much at home! It was great getting to know her a little bit! The room was in excellent condition and we had no trouble finding our way around. I would definitely recommend her as a host, she´s a beautiful soul!

Arielle quickly responded to our last minute plans to spend a weekend
in New York City. We live upstate and came in by bus to the Port Authority. This is a dream situation for anybody who is comfortable with the NYC. subway system. The apartment is only 1 block away from the 96th street station, from where you can easily access any city location. The upper west side neighborhood itself is great . We were able to walk to the Museum of Natural History. The apartment building is classic, with a doorman on duty around the clock. Key pick up went smoothly. The elevator is one of the most quiet I have ever been on. The apartment itself was just perfect for us. The bedroom that we stayed in was probably twice the size of what a hotel room in the city would be. The queen bed with the featherbed and and down comforter was incredibly comfortable. We did not meet Arielle as she herself was traveling for the weekend, but our phone conversations were very pleasant. Highly recommended.
The apartment is fantastic, with a huge living room and kitchen. The bedroom had plenty of privacy, and we had our own bathroom. It is not very far from some great restaurants and shopping. It's even close to the subway.
Arielle's mom was very helpful, and provided us with directions, food recommendations, and things to see.
I would highly recommend it!
Arielle was a great host. Her place is the epitome of modern chic with a cultural kick. You really can't go wrong with staying here. It's also super convenient with the 1&2 just steps away. It only took me 20mins to get to my meeting downtown, no joke.
This is truly a spiritual retreat. The soothing smell of incense, a sincere smile, and a spiritual calm greeted me as I stepped across the threshold of this sacred space, created by the sweet soul who dwells there.
Arielle was sincere, caring, engaging, sensitive and simply fun! The big comfy bed in the spacious bedroom with no TV welcomed me to snuggle up and dream. The long beautiful wooden desk provided plenty of room for my laptop and printer -- I was working but with a conscious sense of calm.
Arielle inspired me with a yoga mat, so was I was doing asanas everyday to relieve my tension -- what a relief. The plentiful book shelves beckoned me to explore -- started reading J.K. Rowling new book! The apartment is clean, orderly and quiet. It was truly a blessing! And Arielle was a joy!
Just what I needed as I recuperated from the violation of having my Brooklyn apartment broken into. It was truly a healing experience.
I give thanks! : ))
Arielle was the most gracious hostess I've never met! I requested the room on Thursday night and she contacted me around 9:00 Friday morning to confirm the reservation for Saturday night. The apartment is cozy and has great artworks displayed as seen in the images. The key was left with the doorman. My friend and I had no trouble finding the place, and loved the fact that there's an elevator! The door was marked to remove shoes before entering and the apartment was neat and clean.
It's not "ideal" accommodations for two if you are not comfortable with sharing a large (full/queen) bed. My friend opted to sleep on the low couch, using a blanket found in a cabinet. The bed itself was very comfortable. It would be a perfect place for a single or couple, but it worked for us. Arielle had let me know that the couch would not be the most comfortable place to sleep, but my friend decided to use the couch anyway.
Overall, it was a wonderful first experience with AirBNB.
We had the pleasure to host Arielle and her boyfriend: both are 5-star-guests! Polite, considerate, independent, extremely sociable and easy-going. They left everything in perfect condition. Highly recommend to host!
