I don't know cats was in the flat and I don't like sleep with cats: If I closed the door, cats started to meow and it was not possible to sleep. One of the cat made excrement on the sofa (and I cleaned it) . Floor with excrements of cats/dirty. Meeting was at 15,45, Taxi was coming and I went out of the flat.
I was thinking to rent a flat not to become a cat-sitter. Just a coffe cup and a spoon. I paid 50 Euro for the cleaning.....
All are perfect.
And friendly cats of cause
I booked at very late notice on a French bank holiday and arrived the next day at around midnight and Melle was able to deal with my booking and check-in perfectly. The apartment is as described and great, 5th floor back of house with two lovely cats, it took around 3 days for the cats to get to know me and then for the remainder of my stay they were like my pets coming to greet me at the door and even sleeping on my bed. If you don't like cats or cat hair then you probably shouldn't stay here, if you like cats and want a great apartment in one of the best areas of Paris then this is the place.
Melle's flat was very nice and in a superb location in the wonderful Marais quartier. the cats were very cute and Melle was very accomodating, we even stayed 2 more days!
A lovely top floor flat, with a designer "french" feel to it. Quite romantic. We were taken good care, at our arrival were given all the indication and tips of the area, The flat is exactly as in the picture
The highlight of the flat are the 2 gorgeous cats that supervise everything. the cats are extremely polite and well mannered and of low demand.
Highly recomended, next time in Paris we would definatevelly return back
This is a lovely little apartment in one of the nicest areas in Paris. There are plenty of great cafes and restaurants in the area that are a stroll away. Its easy to explore the Marais district from here and other Paris highlights such as the Centre Pompidou. The Arts & Metiers metro station is 5 mins walk or walk 15 mins to Chatelet Les Halles for more lines.
The apartment has a little kitchen that was well set up with a couple of hotplates, a microwave oven and a fridge. The living room was comfortable and I enjoyed relaxing there with a glass of wine & a couple of purring cats on my lap.
The bed was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom had a combined bath/shower, loo & sink.
Melle was a lovely host and she made sure I had everything I needed. The cats were no trouble.
I hope to come back!
