I am a young adult, living in Halifax. These are my fathers properties but as he is away for most of the summer, I will be looking after the bookings with the help of other family members, including my brother, Robin.

Great experience overall! Very friendly host! Cozy, clean room and comfortable bed.
Tessa was super friendly, and was very helpful in helping me get to my dinner place, and suggesting bus routes to the airport. She was easily reached by phone, and came to the house very promptly when needed.
I very much enjoyed the bed -- it's not common to sleep on a mattress with sufficient lumbar support!
The room I was in was on the colder side, but nothing that couldn't be solved with a blanket!
The house had the basic amenities, and was very close to the bus stop (approx 5 min walk). Overall, I had a positive experience staying here!
Tessa was very welcoming, and although the house was old, it was very warm and comfortable. It's also at a good location, within walking distance to downtown.
Tessa is really friendly, accommodating and helpful.
The house is in a great location, walking distance to downtown.
The house is cute, colourful and comfortable. If you're the kind of person who likes 5-star hotels, this might not be for you. It's rough around the edges, but I liked it a lot and I've already gone back for a second stay!
Oh, and the common room is really nice. I got a lot of work done there. Comfortable, cozy, natural light and WiFi.
Tessa was prompt with communication and very friendly in person. The location is in a quiet neighbourhood and only a 10 minute walk from downtown. The kitchen has free coffee/tea and an array of spices and equipment for cooking. The "small" room was exactly the size I needed. It had a desk, plenty of shelf space, and a comfy arm chair. Everything was decently clean. The bathroom was a bit small but manageable. I would definitely return to this listing and recommend others to stay here.
Tessa was very welcoming! Very friendly and was home when I checked in and gave me a grand tour of the house. Room was cozy and very confortable bed! It was a lovely old home walking distance to the hospital and downtown.
Clean house, accomodating host. Would stay again.
Tessa was great to deal with. Prompt with replies and she was able to accommodate the changes in my arrival time. I booked the smallest room as I just needed a place to crash, nothing fancy. The futon is decent, lots of shelf space, a desk, wifi, it's all good. The house is big, old, quirky, and you share it with other Airbnbers. The location is great, just a quick walk to everything in downtown Halifax.
Tessa and her dad are amazing hosts. Very sweet, helpful and hospitable. The room is comfortable and very roomy. Definitely would recommend!
On a side note, they do have a dog. If you're not a pet-person, you wouldn't even know that he's there but if you have a soft spot for animals then this little guy will steal your heart. Tessa and her dad made the stay awesome but their dog made it feel so much like home that now this will be the only place I stay while in Halifax
Tessa was there to meet me at our meeting time, see gave a nice tour of the house, which is really nice. The street is really quiet and it's easy to walk to downtown. She left lights on and I felt very comfortable. The room is creative, well maintained and has nice historical details. The bed was firm and comfortable. Heat was constant and warm. A really great place to spend a few days. I didn't use the kitchen but it is well equiped and clean, as was the bathroom.
