I'm a literature graduate student and I do contract work as a translator and French teacher. My husband Albert is an independent financial advisor who promotes ethical and ecological investments. Together we have 3 kids: Yuri (14), Elizabeth (11) and Liam (6). We live in Montréal (Mile-End) and all five of us speak French and English. I would say we are pretty laid-back, respectful and positive. We love arts, documentaries, outdoor activities, knitting and sewing, and being actively involved in our community.
We have been going on camping trips with the kids for many years now, mostly in Québec (Saguenay, Gaspésie, Eastern Townships, Gatineau and more) and in Ontario, New-Brunswick, and New England. We have enjoyed visiting small American towns, especially in Vermont and New Hampshire. Now the kids are older and we want to try new styles of travelling, starting with discovering bigger cities and feeling the vibe there! Also, we own our apartment so we understand how hosts would like us to treat their place!
