I loved my stay at Anita's place!
It's in a great area with great restaurants (Cafe Habana Outpost) and delis on your doorstep.
It's practically on top of the C train and 2 minutes from the G train as well as a short distance from Atlantic Terminal.
It was also super clean and cosy - great to come hpome to after a busy day and I'd actually say the pics don't really do it justice (it is more spacious than it looks and has a nice modern bathroom too).
Anita was also great at communicating before and during my stay. I would have loved to stay longer and felt very happy there.
Anita's apartment in beautiful Fort Greene is very clean, and comfortable. She is a very good host, making us feel really comfortable and providing us with whatever we needed. We arrived at her area at 6am and she allowed us to come in and drop our bags off until she was ready to depart. The walk to Atlantic terminal to catch any train is only a 5 min walk, and there is plenty of great places to eat in the area, and stores. The Fort Greene Flea market (open saturdays) is down the street and is a must see!
Loved the apartment, and the location (wonderful bookstore around the corner + close to Ft Greene park + bar's in the neighborhood. And close to several different subwayslines for Manhattan). Anita was easy to reach and evertthing was very well set up. Will definitely stay there again.
Anita was a great host and great on info; her place is super. Friends from out of town really liked location and apartment set-up - thanks Anita !
We had a wonderful stay at Anita's apartment. She was out of the country during our stay but she always responded to questions via email in a timely manner previous and during our stay despite the different time zones and limited access to the web.
The key pick up from her coworker worked seamlessly. Her apartment was very clean (I didn't even feel my dust allergy once) and it was exactly how it was described on airbnb.com She even left us some tourist materials like maps, Timeout magazines and a list with things to do for entertainment. We pretty much didn't need it but I appreciate the thought.
The location of the apartment is great, you have almost all subways in a walking distance of 0-7min (you fall into the G and C Train when you step out the door). There is sometimes some construction work on the weekends where trains skip a station but that's the same everywhere in NYC. Also the neighborhood is as clean as NYC gets and features nice bars, restaurants, supermarkets, grocery stores, a mall, a fitness center and a park.
We wish Anita all the best and many nice and thoughtful guests and hope to stay at her apartment someday again.
The communication with Anita was nice and easy although I didn´t get to meet her in person (I was out of town during her 3 days visit in Berlin). She also left the apartment in nice shape. I would certainly recommend her.
Anita arranged the apartment for a colleague who was a nice guest to host. Clean, quiet, polite, and welcome back.
I really enjoyed meeting Anita! She's an ideal guest-- good communication, tidy and personable. I would love to host her again and recommend her to other hosts looking for trustworthy, lovely guests in their homes.
Anita was a great guest. She took good care of my apartment. I would welcome her back anytime.
