I'm a father, media maker, educator and general lover of travel, the arts, and good food. By nature I'm inquisitive, and seek an exciting combination of both tried and true and novel experiences.
A few of my favorite places are Barcelona, New Orleans, London, Sydney, and my hometown Seattle. I like exploring unique cuisine within reason -- in other words, not really trying to eat snails again anytime soon -- and probably would say the Louisiana Creole food made by my family members is my favorite kind in the world. I love both sushi and steak, and am enjoying the wide range of culinary experiences available with pizza and burgers these days.
An extremely short list of some of my favorite books would include The Little Prince, The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao, Freakonomics, and The White Boy Shuffle.
I'm generally accepting and easy going. And I don't ever want to stop learning.
