The apartment's quiet, comfortable and very well located - and Bjorn very helpful in settling me in, and answering questions. I would certainly consider staying again, next time i'm in Copenhagen
Enjoyed our stay very much - good value.
Meget fin beliggenhed. Kort afstand til mange off. transportmidler.
dejlig roligt kvarter - ingen trafikstøj. Perfekt placering i forhold til vores besøg i København
Perfect location for a citytrip!
the apartment is well located, twelve minutes from the nearest metro station is small but cozy. However the actual photos of the apartment, which is that the truth is quite dirty, the kitchen full of fat not fit ...
Björn was very kind and it was great to stay at their warm and quiet apartment during these cold winter days. I warmly recommend their place.
Cute apartment about a 10-15 minute bus ride into the city. Bjorn was very helpful and flexible with arrival/departure. The apartment is a perfect size for 2, with all the essential amenities that you may need (we used the kitchen a few times to cook a meal). We found the apartment clean but for the shower, which was quite small and a little mouldy. Having said that, it seemed quite hard to find an apartment in Copenhagen with a shower! I would probably pay a bit more and try and find a place with newer facilities to stay next time, however if you are on a budget, the apartment is suitable.
It was a perfect place to stay: nice neighborhood, causy little apartment with all u need, many coffees around, good recomondations from Björn & an amazing city! We'll be back & thank you!
I required a booking on fairly short notice and contacted three hosts in Copenhagen. All three replied quite quickly, but only Bjorn was able to host. I had the impression from the descriptions of the other properties, as well as many of the listings for Copenhagen that I reviewed before contacting any of the hosts, that despite the apparent large number of available properties, many of them are not actually available. Fortunately, as I said, this did not turn out to be the case for Bjorn's property. Judging from the number of other reviews, which I found to be pretty accurate, this property is more reliably available than others.
I was travelling without a phone and had to rely on the kindness of a stranger to call Bjorn once I arrived at the address as there was no answer when I buzzed the apartment. He appeared very quickly from a neighbouring apartment to let me in and again that evening when I could not figure out how to open the kitchen drawers (they have childproof and in my case adultproof locks on them). Apart from these two minor issues, which were quickly resolved, there were absolutely no hitches during my stay (except for hitting my head on a cupboard in the kitchen a couple of times and at least once on a shelf above the bed).
The weather in Copenhagen was pretty miserable during my stay, but the apartment was indeed cozy. It is definitely a vintage property, but is a good value nonetheless. On my return to Copenhagen a few days later I stayed in a hotel in the same neighbourhood, as I was just staying for one night and arriving quite late. It was about the same price as the apartment after a discount on the regular rate was applied. It was however, not nearly as comfortable as the apartment, which is why when I can, I look for an airbnb property instead of a hotel. Given the choice again, I would definitely prefer this apartment to a hotel.
Nice and easy guest :)
Det var en rigtig dejlig oplevelse at have besøg af Bjørn og familie, ikke mindst af Viktor på 5 år, som var ivrig (email hidden) naturen, om det så var i robåd eller når han lavede sneglesuppe.
It's alway great to meet interesting, motivated guests and Bjorn was just that. We had great conversations about pursuing our goals. I wish him the best of luck and highly recommend him as a guest. Maybe one of these days I'll be able to stay at his place in Copenhagen. A very inspiring person.
It 'been a pleasure to have him as a guest in my house.
Everything worked easy, apartment was left very tidy. Welcome again any time!
