Like most people, we enjoy traveling. I just discovered Airbnb, so I am very new to all the procedures and requirements. It looks like a truly terrific concept and we are eager to try it out, which we will be doing in September.
I am an AIF, Accredited Investment Fiduciary and have my own business. I have been in the investing world since 1983. My husband, John Covell, works for the FAA as a Labor Relations Specialist. We are both native Californians and come back every fall for a combination work/play visit.
I am an indefatigable gardener and John is a rock n roll music afficionado. After being on the other coast since 1990 (me) and 2000 (John) we are almost natives. (In D.C. if you've been a resident through 5 administrations, you've earned honorary DC native status, haha.) We both have moments when we miss Cali and our annual fall pilgrimage helps to allay some of that longing. We still have friends and family there as well as professional contacts. We both enjoy drinking good wine and maintain a modest cellar in our home.
One of the most appealing things about Airbnb is the opportunity to meet new and interesting people, and hear their stories. We agree that this Airbnb experience promises to be much more rewarding that spending a couple of nights at the nearby Marriott!
