I'm an author (a couple memoirs; currently working on a murder mystery) and a musical theater composer (did a show off-Broadway a couple years ago called SIGNS OF LIFE). I've lived in New York for fifteen years, the last eight in Crown Heights with my now-husband, who's a psychiatrist at a city hospital. I don't drink--the last time I did was in 2004, when after two glasses of wine I slammed my hand down on the table and slurred, "I'm smarter than everybody at this party put together," so since then I've stuck with Diet Mountain Dew--or smoke. I'm a nice guy and do my best to treat people and their property respectfully.
