Friendly and accommodating host. Knowledgeable about Oahu sites and scenery. Willing to take guests on a "round the island" tour in private car. I love Hawaii and want you to love it too! I have many books on hiking and sightseeing in Oahu.

Great Stay! Clean, quiet and accessible!
Sheila is easy to communicate with and a terrific host. The apartment is clean and comfortable. The location is absolutely perfect whether you want to meander up the windward side of the island, head to the North Shore or go into Honolulu. Sheila has everything you need from beach towels and chairs to snorkeling gear . Awesome! Loved being able to cook a meal once in a while or have morning coffee on the lanai overlooking the mountains. We had a terrific stay. Thank you Sheila!
It was very easy to book and to find the place, which was conveniently located by beautiful botanical gardens and some outdoor shops. Her place was very clean and comfortable and Sheila was very quick to respond to any email or texts and made me feel right at home. She was also very accommodating and it was nice being able to use the kitchen. The view from her balcony of the mountains were lovely!
Sheila helped us out when we needed to find a last-minute place to stay. Although she was in the midst of some other projects (in addition to work), she graciously left us the key and we had free reign of the apartment, even though we had only rented a room. The view of the mountains from the porch is indeed beautiful. And the local botanical garden, just up the road from her place, is free!
We only met Sheila for a few short minutes, but she didn't need any more time to make us feel very welcome. The apartment itself is compact but gave us plenty of space during our stay. We found it to be a great location for visiting Honolulu and Pearl Harbour by car.
We really enjoyed our stay at Sheila's.
Most of all we enjoyed the view of the mountains from the back porch. We never got to actually meet Sheila, she was out of town, but she generously offered us to help ourselves to fruit and candy.
Kaneohe itself is not a particular standout town but at the end of the street is a wonderful botanical garden - definitely try to see that if you have a chance. There is also a great farmer's market in town on saturday.
The only downside to the experience is that's when we first arrived at the airport, we couldn't get in touch with Sheila and had to wait two hours in downtown Honolulu before figuring out how to get the key.
Once we got there, though, we enjoyed the breezes and the incredible view and appreciated the basket full of travel books information.
Sheila was so accommodating to take our very last minute request. She's super friendly and easy going. The apartment is great. It's comfortable, clean, well set up and the location near Likelike makes it very convenient to get to Honolulu. And those Kaneohe hills are so green and beautiful. Highly recommended experience.
Sheila was a gracious host. She provided a warm welcome, gave us information about local activtes, let us use her snorkel gear, and provided breakfast snacks. Kaneohe is not Honolulu, but gave us access to many sites - including Hanauma Bay - without being in a big city. Thanks Sheila!
Sheila pretty much lived up to her reputation on airbnb. It worked out real well for me. Recommended!
We had wunderful five days in Kaneohe. Sheila is a very friendly and great hostess. She knows a lot about Hawaii and gave us helpful advises what to do and where to go. Furthermore she had numerous books and maps. The accomodation was simple but cosy. There was enough space to hang all our clothes. We are allowed to use the kitchen and everything from the messy refridgerator. Furthermore Sheila allowed us to use her coffee machine. We loved to sit on the lanai with the great mountain view. Sheila was most of the time not at home. Thank you for the pleasant time we had at your place. Mahalo, G&L
