We showed up around 10pm and Herry was still there to meet us and get us in. Very good host. The boat is in the great condition. Very clean. We did an add on feature to sail out a day after and that was the best thing out of the whole weekend.. It was good.
Harry & Joy are wonderful host I've ever met! Harry welcomed us so warmly and treated as well. The boat is unbelievably gorgeous with many equipments inside. We didn't have any difficulties to cook, take a shower, get warm and so on. If you look for sailing in Bainbridge island, they also have sailing tour pack with staying. We definitely want to come back here:)
Harry had sent excellent directions and was waiting for our arrival. The town is charming and the marina delightful. Their boat is in excellent shape, clean and inviting, with fresh tulips on the table. Harry responded quickly and was helpful with any and all concerns.
I had surprised my husband for his birthday. Our stay reminded us of our favorite vacations on the water. I would highly recommend the Joy II for a unique adventure!
Could not have asked for a more grateful and welcoming host! Harry was extremely flexible and accommodating. We opted for the anchor out option for the night and were amazed by the beauty. Spent the night cooking a gourmet meal after sunset followed by desserts and wine under the star. Best of all, breakfast was provided! What an amazing memory. I recommend this to everyone in the Seattle area! Can't wait to sail out again soon!
Harry met us right at the dock, and was even gracious and flexible with a late ferry arrival. I was charmed before I even saw the boat. And THE BOAT! So beautiful and meticulously cared for. It was everything we were hoping for and more. As Harry took us through the details, he spoke with such care and reverence for the Oh Joy II, it was contagious. We had such a nice time relaxing on the sunny deck and being lulled to sleep by the gentle rocking. I could not recommend a stay here more highly.
Harry was an amazing Captain and host and did everything to make our trip an unforgettable experience. We did an anchor-out followed by a sail around Puget Sound the following morning. He did everything he could in order to make us as comfortable as possible and went out of his way in order to do so. We had perfect weather in January, which was a nice plus as well. Still, I would recommend spending time on the Oh Joy II to anyone, whether it's for just a one night getaway or a meaningful life event (like a proposal for example). I am sure you will come away with plenty of memories.
The Oh Joy II is absolutely gorgeous; spacious, clean, and full of beautiful details. Harry was very communicative and helpful throughout. I was a little worried it'd be camped or cold in January, but it was toasty warm and my 6'2" partner and I had plenty of room. The marina was very convenient for walking into downtown Winslow and it was such a treat to sleep in the slight rock of the water. I wish the weather had cooperated for a sail or an anchor out, but hopefully next time.
It's a special experience, I never live in a boat before. This one can fit 4 person I think, it's very clean, the bed is very comfortable and warm. We don't have the time to sail out, but I think it will be super amazing.
Although our plan was to be early to meet Harry we were delayed in our travels. Harry welcomed us with a smile and proceeded to show us their fine boat. He provided fresh cur flowers, tasty strawberries and a fine bottle of wine. It set the tone for a wonderful overnight experience. We stayed docked which was our plan, ate at Doc's which BTW had the best mussels we ever had, then enjoyed our quaint and cozy stay. We will be back!

Captain Harry made us feel very welcome by working with our schedule and by providing lots of perfect communication. He was very gracious about a last minute decision to bring our kids and they had a blast. We easily found the dock and he was there waiting to take us to the boat.
We couldn't believe how well maintained, lovely, and spacious the boat is. It is obvious that this couple loves their boat. There were a lot of nice touches like comfy bedding, gourmet coffee and best of all, everything worked. We hope to stay on board the Oh Joy II again soon!
Harry and Joy were just delightful. I really enjoyed meeting them. They communicated throughout and kept
Our little house very clean. Highly recommend.
We've been blessed to have enjoyed several overnight sail trips around
Bainbridge Island with Harry and Joy. They are the quintessential hosts.
Harry is an experienced captain who loves to share his passion for
sailing with others. Patient but not patronizing, he will gladly share his
extensive sailing knowledge with you and have you at the helm in no-time.
In addition to being a skilled first mate, Joy is an amazing cook who is
excels at making delicious and eye-pleasing food for every type of diet.
They both are immensely likable, with great wit and a genuine interest in
others. Though, they can be discreet too if that is the experience one
Oh Joy II is an extremely comfortable and well-maintained boat that sends
out a warm welcome to all who board her. Please, do yourself a favor and
book a wonderful vacation on Oh Joy II.
Harry is the fantastic Captain of the Oh Joy II. I've had the opportunity to spend a weekend sailing with Harry and his First Mate, Joy, and it was a wonderful adventure from start to finish. Harry and Joy are charming, attentive, funny, creative and fabulous. I can't think of anyone I'd rather be on a boat with!
So there's this boat. A gorgeous, wood boat! And the captains are so relaxed, the whole things was fun! And then the food...these guys are creative FOOD PEOPLE. That means something to me. And the Puget Sound? WOW! I felt very taken care of and rejuvenated after a few days at sea with this crew.
