Andrew and his wife need to work on communication for the benefit of future guest stays and hosts. After Andrew booked their stay multiple messages to him via the Airbnb site went unanswered. We first heard from them when they called to say they were at our house waiting to check in. This was outside the time range indicated on our profile as well as on the messages sent to them after booking. They seemed to have not read our profile because many of the items they indicate they did not like in their review of the stay are specifically mentioned in our profile: check-in/check-out time, bed high off the floor, bathroom across the hall, and basic breakfast items. Their dog is well behaved and they brought a kennel for the dog to stay in while they were out. Their public review seems negative, and again, if they had paid attention to communication and read the profile and amenities closer, they’d have seen that everything was as advertised. We wish them well in improving communication to the betterment of them as guests as well as hosts in the AirBnB community.
