My name is Thorsten, chasing the sun with my fiancé Cathy - but right now without much success. We are on a half world trip since middle of June to make fun, friends and to fill up our bellies with unhealthy food. Until now we have visited Cristo Redentor in Rio (with 1000s of people at about the same time), friends in Sao Paulo (with their absolute suger-sweet and extreme-wild miniature schnauzer and - ideally you - for our next stay.
We are a little chaotic but of course a lovely couple grown up in Germany but now living in Switzerland, that are making or changing our plans from one to another day - to hunt the sun. To this fact and also getting rid of big towns, we cancelled to go to NY and escaped from Brazil (and not because of the demonstrations) for exploring the Lake Michigan with our brand new rented car to meet you, some beaches and hopefully the sun at the end.
We love to have ugly hairstyles but in fact we are a conservative couple who sleeps long, eats up every time and are afraid to be as boring as everybody at the end. But for everybody who give us home, we have also a small present: a postcard with a fancy colour and an original Swiss-German sentence. What else would someone need today?
Do I have a life motto? I always didn't know what to write when asked, because there are so much good thoughts, but it's like good jokes - you forget them quite fast or they are not really punshing. But here is a line I just found in an old saved text doc from former times, I prefer even today: "A lot of people are clowns, but hardly nobody shows it". Cathy will find her life motto only when she is lying lazy on the beach, she said.
