When we arrived with the ferry Amaryllis picked us up and there was no problem in communication concerning the transfer. That was very kind and everything with the check-in went well. Amaryllis welcomed us lovely and showed us the apartment which was like the picture have shown, clean and comfortable! The location was also pretty good, close to beach and the center. Amaryllis breakfast was delicious and she was such a nice person, maybe we'll come back in summer!
Ms Amaryllis is a very kind lady and the room is great.
Although Marios was in Athens during my stay, her friend was able to take care of us. We had a cleaning service every day, a nearby supermarket, kitchen, and we were given a ride to the airport. The jacuzzi was cold, it is a semi-distant walk to the beach, and it takes awhile to get hot water for the shower, but overall it was a great experience. Marios and her friend were very friendly during our stay.
We had a very nice time! The place is very clean and well located. Amaryllis is the owner of the place and she is very kind.
we only ended up staying one of the four nights we'd reserved. the apartments are right next to a busy road and the traffic noise at night made sleeping a challenge.
beds are uncomfortable, the pillows are rocks. wifi didn't work inside the room and was intermittent in the common area. the jacuzzi was cold, pool was dirty and had no lounge furniture. our visit was in october, and i understand many places are at the end of their season and close to shutting down for the year - what this means, tho, is that you can get great deals on other places right in town, within walking distance of beaches and stores.
on the upside, the apartment was very clean, prices were exceptionally affordable, and amaryllis was as sweet as she could be - waiting for our late ferry to pick us up and dropping us at our new hotel when we decided to move.
We had a lovely stay in Mykonos. This is a great place to stay if you want to be slightly away from the action. We easily got a bus into town, and likewise walked to the beach in the other direction (it was about 1K to the beach & the bus station is just outside the villa door. The supermarket Carrefour is also just opposite the villa so we could get our groceries from there.
We were collected from the port and dropped off at the port on our arrival and departure, Mrs Amaryllis was really helpful. However, there was a little confusion when collecting us from the port, I guess Marios passes on the collection info to Mrs Amaryllis. There was a delay in picking us up but once we were picked up all was well. Marios also offered us a drop to the beach the next day for the delay caused in picking us up from the post the previous day, which i thought was really commendable(true greek hospitality)
All in all great stay in this little villa complex. I would recommend.
Had a fantastic stay at Amaryllis studios- she was so welcoming and friendly, the room was well equipped, and the complimentary pickup/drop off from the port was fantastic, rooms are exceptionally clean and she prides herself on it! A week wasn't enough and can't wait to stay again in the near future :) its walking distance from the town and the beaches - ideal location when wanting to stay at Mykonos.
Tanto el studio como el barrio eran correctos.
Very charming studio complex situated conveniently across the road from a carrefour supermarket. The grounds are lovely with a swimming pool and plenty of areas to sit and have a drink or breakfast. There is bus transportation directly to Mykonos town or as many others do you can rent a scooter or walk just 20minutes. The hosts were very welcoming and we would love to come back!
We had a wonderful time in Mykonos thanks to Amaryllis! The hotel room was clean and the decoration/wall painting was so pretty, we had seating outside of the room and the back (small balcony.) Amaryllis picked us up from the port on time and was so sweet about our arrival, we had a small kitchenette which was perfect for us to cook breakfast every morning, especially with the grocery store across the street. We were about a 20 minute walk to Mykonos town where you can catch pretty much any bus, all the bus drivers also stopped at Amaryllis for us if we asked. Amaryllis also took us back to the port at no extra charge, she was a very sweet lady and we were very happy with our accommodation!
Marios is a great guest. It is great for a host to host another host!:) Everything went smoothly, there was no probs or misunderstandings. Highly recommended!
