Young woman who likes to travel. I am very sociable and communicative and I like to work with people.
Really nice, clean and well situated flat with a great view of the sea and the Old Town. Rafaela organised transportation for us from the airport for 30 euros and a light breakfast was provided. She showed us the flat and left us alone for the duration of our stay.
The Old Town is a 10 minute walk from the flat, however there are a lot of stairs to climb on the way back. This is quite a difficult climb, but it is good exercise after a meal in Old Town.
We had a lovely time there and we would recommend it to anybody looking to stay in Old Town as the views are fantastic.
the appartment is very nice and corresponds to the description on the site .View on Dubronik and large balcony.
Rafaela's mother welcomed us and was really nice.
We appreciated the little attentions of rafaella she left in in the fridge for breakfast.Tea,coffee, jam, butter and even orange juice.
As the appartment is in the heights of Dubronvik , it takes about 10 mn to go down and 20 mn to go back (website hidden) is a good training or otherwise there is a bus .We really recommend this appartment
The apartment was in a good location, with beautiful views of the Adriatic as per the photos. It was just my husband and I and so the cozy size was perfect. Upon walking in, you have the living room (with the ocean view), then follow the hallway back to the kitchen, with the bedroom and bathroom in separate rooms on the right.
We took advantage of the ocean view balcony one evening and had a small dinner to watch the sunset. As mentioned in previous reviews, there are quite a few stairs to get down to the Old Town (but I think it was perfect, to work off the delicious meals we ate everyday!). Also, if you want to climb Mt. Srd, the pathway is just above the apartment, across the road. If you want to get to Gruz Harbor, where ferries to other islands (Mjlet) are docked, its an easy 30 minute walk.
Rafaela was very responsive throughout the booking process and was helpful in arranging our airport transfers (her father kindly woke up very early to bring us to the airport). Would definitely recommend!
Apartment Rafaela is great! We stayed 4 nights. Very clean and comfortable. They provide some juice and toast. Dedicated parking lot behind the apartment for those who drive... one the main reasons we chose Rafaela. The view from the terrace is outstanding, high over the Adriatic with a bit of old town in view. I'd give this 5 stars if not for 2 factors. 1. It's a pretty quick jaunt down the stairs to old town but my god these are a killer on the way back up after a dinner, a few drinks, and a gelato. If you don't mind a bit of a workout this won't be too bad. 2. It's kind of tough to find the place for the first time because Ulica Kriva is a narrow staircase lane between two highway-type roads and the entry to the parking lot can be a bit tricky to find. Make sure you call or text when you get close. We weren't greeted by Rafaela directly but were met by a friendly woman who showed us around the place. I recommend a stay here if like us you want to close to the city while still having a car for day trips to Kotor, ferry port to Mljet, etc.
Great views in a nice and clean appartment. Close to the old town and if you need close to the bus stop. We recommend this place
Beware the photos are misleading. I booked this hotel primarily based on the photos that showed an incredible balcony with an amazing view. To my disappointment, when I arrived, I was told that this owner has 2 apartments for rent. The first has the lovely patio and view as advertised, the 2nd apartment (which was the one i was given) is along the side of the house with no private balcony or view. When I complained that I had booked the apartment that was advertised, the owner said it was already rented to someone else but that I could 'share' the balcony with the other tenants. I didn't visit the patio because I felt it was an invasion of privacy for the other family who had rented the apartment assuming they had a private balcony space. When booking, be sure to confirm which apartment you are going to be given: the one with a view and balcony or the one without. Additionally, if you are given the balcony unit, be forewarned that the owner will tell the people in the side unit they can use the balcony as well. I would not return to stay here under these false pretences. What a disappointment.
Rafaela appartments are located up hill of dubrovnik, so get prepared to step 20min stairs from the old town....
Rafaela's apartment was very nice and clean. It was a lot bigger than I expected. Excellent location, but there are a lot of stairs to climb when you are returning from Old Town (there is a bus that you can take though).
The apartment has an amazing view over Dubrovnik city. The house has all conforts as described on the website. Internet works fast. Rafaela's apartment is 15 mins walking from the city center (with lots of stairs!). My friends and me spent a week there in Dubrovnik and it was fun! The city is beautiful and This solution is great! Rafaela is kind, we communicated very well!
