Maren was a very nice host - we didn't have much interaction but whenever we had any questions, she was quick to respond. The apartment is very nicely furnished although we had to hide most of the decorations because of our toddler. The neighborhood is nice (Adliswil is very quiet), there is a big supermarket just opposite the street (very convenient), the train station to Zurich is just around the corner and it takes around 15 minutes to get to Zurich Hauptbahnhof. For parents with kids - there's a very nice playground and park very close (next to the church that you can see from the kitchen). The flat has everything you will need, even for a longer stay (we stayed almost 2 months). The only slightly negative side is that you can hear the traffic starting early in the morning from the master's bedroom but it is not too bad and in our case it wasn't much of a problem because our daughter wakes up by that time anyways.
Schöne Wohnung und sehr gut gelegen:)
Maren was very helpful with my enquiries. The apartment was very clean when we arrived and collecting the keys was easy. The apartment is spacious and comfortable with everything you need during your stay. Location is excellent, very close to the lake and zurich. There is also a supermarket right across the road. I would thoroughly recommend this apartment.
I've been there for five days. Flat is very clean, really really pretty and comfortable. I was there with my grandma so for her was little bit hard because there is no elevator. Is in front of the supermarket (Migros) and really close to the train station, good for who has to go to Zürich (15 min by train). Very very nice all! Thank you Maren.
Maren's Apartment was perfect for me as a slightly longer rental of 2 months. The location to the Supermarket, work and City were great, as well as to enjoy the mountains and river on the doorstep. Maren was very accomodating and easy-going when it came to moving in and out of the apartment. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay around Zurich!
The apartment was a great place to stay. Maren was very easy to work with and promptly answered all my emails and calls. She met us at the apartment and even left us some items for breakfast the next morning. The apartment was clean and spacious and conveniently located. There is a Migro grocery store right across the street and the train station is just around the corner. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to others.
maren is very gentle and a great host. my guests who used the aptm. were more than satisfyed with the organisation and the flat. clean and comfortable. we will meet again - i am sure. gunther
Maren is amazing, extremely kind and very helpful! The apartment is exactly as shown in the pictures, very cosy and furnished with Maren's wonderful taste! It is located in a very beautiful place, Adliswil, and you have all necessary shops really close to you!
Maren is very pleasent, speaks good English and has a lovely home. The apartment feels good to be in - it's modern, well fitted out, clean, spacious, bright with sunshine, and well lit with indirect lighting for pleasent evenings. It's nice to live here. The only drawback is that the traffic noise in the master bedroom can be noticeable during the morning rush hour. To detail the positives, so that you can read about them from me and be sure; the shower arrangement is a little awkward (it's over the bath, so there's not as much room as normal) but the shower is excellent, lots of water and you can make it hotter than you can bear, the internet access is solid and fast, although I think the provider throttles if you do peer to peer, the apartment is cool in the summer and warm in the autumn. The kitchen has an excellent cooker (although electric hot plates, not gas). The building has a (good) washing machine and tumble dryer in a shared wash room in the basement. In all my time here, I've *once* found it in use. There's no schedule for when you can use it - just go down when you need to. Just over the road from the apartment is a big Migros (the main supermarket chain in Switzerland), which handles basically all of your normal shopping needs. There's also a co-op at the train station, which is literally three minutes walk from the front door. Getting into Zurich central train station is a bit slow - about 15, 20 minutes by train; it tends to stop at every station on the way in - but it is very convenient being so close to the station. Ah - there is ONE downside to living here - there is a church nearby, and they sure do like ringing the church bells in Switzerland. 15 mins of bell ringing at 7am and 7pm (it won't wake you up, it hasn't done so for me, not one, but you'll hear it if you're awake). Finally, just in case you hate the smell of cheese, there is a cheese shop on the corner of the building - I think it smells wonderful, but I think some hate it; when you come in and out of the ground floor door (the apartment is second floor, you don't smell it in the apartment), you will meet a strong smell of blue cheese.
All in all, 9/10.
Maren was a good guest. She left the apartment very clean.
Nice people, good experience.
