Laura provided a wonderful place to call home during my stay. There were chocolates and touristy literature on the dresser, a shower with outstanding water pressure, and some great pets to welcome me back each day.
She was nice enough to give me several suggestions on food/entertainment, and even introduced me to the best dog park I've ever been to. She let me borrow her park pass on top of that (so I got in for free).
Laura was easy to communicate with: text and email. And she was incredibly generous with her home and possessions. The house is so cute. It's in a quiet neighborhood, near to anything you'd need/want to do in the city. And there's a great fenced-in backyard to play fetch in.
I would definitely stay there again. Laura was friendly, professional, and considerate. I had a great stay. Comfortable & affordable!
Laura was very accommodating, the house welcoming and comfortable, and just a few minutes from downtown! Highly recommended.
My husband and I had a great time! Laura was very nice and recommended places to go and where to eat. Her house is a really quick drive from most attractions. Her dog and kitties were sweet. Hope to come back soon!
Laura's home is in a great location, within 15 minutes to downtown Charleston, local restaurants and shopping! The house is in a quiet neighborhood, is bright and airy with lots of lighting. I was in town for the Cooper River Bridge Run and stayed 3 nights. Laura keeps pretty busy, but I did see her once and got to spend a little time getting to know her. She's a really nice person with a wonderful spirit. Although I didn't see her much, she does a great job of keeping in touch through text messages. She has two cats and a dog. The cats are very sweet and warm up to guests quickly. Her dog Cody is a ball of excitement! If you have allergies, this is something to be mindful of. I would definitely recommend for anyone visiting the Charleston area.
Laura's home is a nice size and within 1/2 mile walking distance of a bus line which was helpful for my travels. She emailed me right after I reserved with airbnb to stay at her home and was always easily available to communicate with during my stay. She even drove me downtown on my first day in Charleston.
She has two very sweet cats. There was a bit of a problem with them for me however which was taken care of with a mutual understanding between Laura and I. She is a very busy woman and I had the entire house to myself most of the time I stayed there.
Laura's house was lovely. The bed was really comfortable and the room was clean and really well prepared for guests, with loads of information. I never met Laura but she was really helpful and answered every question. I would come back!
Location is good, 15 mins from downtown and 10 mins from parks. I am really happy my choice!
Laura' s house is nice and bright and in a quiet neighborhood. Laura was super busy with work the week we were there so we only saw her twice. It was like having the place to ourselves. One of the two times we saw her she was kind enough to drive us downtown. Her house is only a few minute's walk to the bus stop - a short ride to downtown Charleston. I only wish our cats were so affectionate. I even played with her dog in the back yard one day while waiting for my wife to get ready for the day. Money well spent.
The reservation was canceled 11 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Laura's home was a great place to stay. I felt right at home and she made sure I had everything I needed for my stay. I highly recommend staying here.
Response from Laura:
Hey! no worries about the key!
Laura was a great guest! One of the best I've had yet. She washed and changed the sheets when she left. She ended up renting my smaller room for three weeks and even washed the sheets when other guests came and went! She treated my animals as if they were her own. She is most definitely welcome back anytime!
