I stayed with Cyndi and her son for three weeks. I had plenty of space in my room and loved the private bathroom. She was a great host and an amazing person. Her home feels open and welcoming. Her son is sweet and happy. He always made my day with his bright smiles. The area was quiet and only a mile from my office, very close to the beach, and great food. I had a great stay.
Cyndi was a great host, very nice and accommodating. The place was clean and convenient to everything and I really enjoyed staying there. Wish I had had time to get to know Cyndi better, but had a very difficult work schedule so didn't have much time to socialize.
Cyndi was there when I arrived. I felt welcome and everything was as described and what I expected. The neighborhood was very nice and a perfect location for what I needed.
Cyndi is an awesome host. Easy to get to her place. Really nice area . Nice and quiet room. I was staying here till I found an apartment for myself. Cyndi gave me some great pointers while I was apartment hunting. She is a really pleasant person, helpful and even accommodated my change of plans. Cyndis baby is awesome! I had a great stay!
We felt very welcome. Cyndi was very gracious. At first we thought the bed might be too small but it was adequate and extremely comfortable. It was easy to find with Cyndi's specific directions. Cyndi was very hospitable and the complex was very quiet. It was a very convenient and pleasant stay! We will return if she will have us!!
Great place! Great location! Great host.
Close to great restaurants, shopping, and the track. Minutes from the coast. Very affordable!
Would absolutely come back!
Cyndi was a great host; very responsive and friendly. Her place was just what we needed.
A few things to note, not necessarily criticisms, just worth knowing...
It's a decent size bedroom, but I'm pretty sure it was a full size bed. Thought it would be tight for my mom and I to share, but we were fine and very comfortable. I knew that Cyndi has a baby, but didn't realize that his crib was going to be in the bedroom we were staying in. He didn't sleep in the room, but I did feel bad as I thought we were preventing him from being able to sleep in his crib. The baby was great though, really didn't hear him at all.
If there's a heat wave in S.D., the ceiling fan is nice, but it was still quite warm at night.
The location was great for us to see and do everything we wanted to do, but driving or using Uber was necessary. There's some great restaurants nearby.
Best of luck to you on your move! Don't worry Max always sleeps with me. He has never slept in his crib. :)
The host and I never met but Cyndi made check in easy. The location was accessible to all I needed. Easy, short stay.
Cyndi wasn't home. Nice house.
Cyndi was not home for our stay until we were packing up. She was responsive within the hour via telephone. Her place is located in a townhouse complex and we had some difficulty finding the address numbers on the houses and they all look the same. But we did find her place after a few minutes. The room was a little cluttered and felt more like staying with family than actually renting. We cooked 2 meals and found the kitchen organization hard to navigate but did manage. Location was driving distance to all main beaches and about 20 min to actual san diego areas. Our next time out there we will likely plan more in advance and get a place closer to the beach.
