The cabin is a lovely palace to stay, right on the water, quiet and relaxing. However, we had a few troubles during our stay. Major problem was the bed, it is tiny for two people and very uncomfortable. Also, we woke up every morning after being eaten to death by tiny little bugs (poss. Fleas) that can be seen in the spiders webs around the cabin. Other smaller, but still annoying problems (considering the amount we paid to stay here) where, the cups provided were only big enough to have one mouth full of tea, there were no bowls, and when we asked for some we were given tiny bowls big enough (maybe) for one wheatbix. One night we were even asked to have the owners dog sleep in our room, we like dogs but we paid a lot to have our own space, something that was again disrupted when keno's boyfriend was wondering around outside our door with no trousers or pants on, careless to us sitting having breakfast with the door open for fresh air. We are thankful that we were able to stay here as we had nowhere else to go in our last two weeks in Australia, however we will not be coming back.
We had a beautiful time staying at the Lakeside Cabin, perfect for day trips to Newcastle, the Hunter Valley, Port Stephens and more.
This place was just what the Dr ordered!
My husband and I stayed with our dog in Keon's Lakeside cabin for one night while travelling from Melbourne up the coast. It was perfect. Our dog went for a swim and burned off some of his built up energy from being in the car all day. In the morning we watched the sun rise over the lake with the swans and ducks. It reminded us of a scene out of 'The Notebook'. Keon was a very kind and hospitable host. Thank you Keon!
Keon has a really quaint place, ideally suited for sydneysiders who want a weekend away from the sights and sounds - enjoy the silence and the serenity :) The view from the cottage at sundown is fantastic! Thanks!
Thanks for the cute cottage near the lake. very hospitable hosts eager to assist us in anything we needed. recommend the cottage.
Fabulous view, sweet little cottage with nice touches like fresh tulips by the main bed, lovely duvet and old-fashioned tea cups etc. The single bed our son slept in needed a bit of attention, but Keon is on to it!
spacious and well equipped cabin with a lovely verandah which backs onto the well kept garden & lake. Thank you keon for a lovely stay!
Nakul was the most perfect guest you can imagine. He and some friends stayed on my yacht in Sydney Harbour for two nights and they were a delight to host. His communication throughout was first class, he looked after the boat beautifully and he left it in immaculate condition. I highly recommend him to other hosts and I very much hope he'll stay again.
Keon is courteous & polite, he is a landlord so he understand what's other landlord expect which made my job a lot easier. Will definitely host him again in the future.
Keon was the perfect guest - clean and respectable! We would definitely welcome him back to Red Panda!
