I’m an actor, theatre director and teacher based in Melbourne Australia.
I’m looking to travel through the states from July to September 2013.
I’m quiet, but conversational if the vibe is right, respectful, responsible and most importantly clean!
Of course given my profession I’m “in to the arts.” Just saw a great exhibition of Toulouse Lautrec’s work in Canberra; Beautiful and far more diverse than I was expecting.
I‘m also into any kind of history or books on linguistics (Stephen Fry is a bit of a hero in that sense) but also like to get out and ride my bike, play tennis or generally horse around with friends back home. Love a good laugh (Think Black books, The IT Crowd and The Mighty Boosh or Curb Your Enthusiasm more locally.)
My life involves working with people from various backgrounds and ages and the work I do can change from day to day, which I love. It gives me variety and keeps me passionate about my industry.
My particular passion is Shakespeare in Performance and I was lucky enough in 2011 to be one of 12 actors picked worldwide to study and perform at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre in London. Still one of my working highlights so far!
I adore getting out in a city I’m visiting and think the best way to experience it is to walk straight into its heart. I love new cultures, people and food! One of the best things about travelling is the food!
I figure if you’re in a new place spend as much time exploring as you can and then collapse on the bed at night!
Anyway thanks for reading this far and looking forward to exploring the US soon!
