John was amazing and very kind. He helped me to get information to travel around and cared about my savety. The Flat is cosy and central in Dalkey it could'nt be better. I'm looking forward to come back.
This is a nice flat in a very smart suburb of Dublin. Description of flat was as per Airbnb. Really handy for trips into the City by DART.
Flat overlooks the main street so there was some late night/ early morning noise from revellers exiting pubs at the weekend. But overall, we had a very good time.
John was great, the place was great. He recommended good places to eat. Place was clean. Perfect.
John provided excellent suggestions for restaurants in the lead up to our stay. The welcome was a bit rushed as John had been stuck in traffic and then was on his way somewhere else and so we didn't get to ask the questions we probably would have asked if we had not felt rushed however it didn't tarnish our stay at all. John was a very relaxed host and as he was away until Sunday evening offered us the opportunity to say until 6pm on the Sunday.
John's apartment is a fantastic and slightly quirky location bang in the middle of the lovely suburb of Dalkey. Amazing access to shops, restaurants, bars and cafes. For me, the proximity to the climbing in Dalkey quarry and easy access to Wicklow was also ideal. John's eclectic collection of art and trinkets collected from his travels gave his place a great sense of character. Despite the central location the street was surprisingly quiet in the evening/night time. The poker machine and Wii were a hit with my boy, and fast internet was a bonus. Thanks John - we loved it!
John was very welcoming and gave us some good tips on places to eat and local attractions. The apartment is in a good central location in Dalkey, which is a lovely little village, full of interesting shops and great cafes/restaurants. It's a great base for exploring the Dublin area.
Johno was welcoming and told us about the secrets of the town. It was easy to get to Dublin and Dalkey was so cute half the time we opted to stay there instead of taking the train in. The house itself was great, we loved all the art and were very comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying here we had a fantastic time and felt like home.
Our stay was amazing, John is a very good host. Very friendly environment, from the people to the dog milo, and a beautiful apartment, and town. Would recommend this to anybody traveling through the area, even Dublin, only a 15 minute train ride. We wouldn't of changed a thing about our stay.
I didn't meet john personally but seemed an ok guest, had more people stay in chalet than was arranged but he was upfront and paid extra. Left a few drinks in chalet which was kind.
John is a friendly, considerate guest. He left the place nice and clean. We'd be happy to host him again.
Johno was an awesome guest! During his business trip to Houston he took great care of my place and actually left behind a wireless printer as a gift!! Air BnB Rocks!! And thanks Johno and you're more than welcome back anytime!
