Grew up in an ex-pat family. Born in Alabama, but California became my second home. I am a San Diego State University alumni, currently living in teaching in Rabat.
My husband (Baki) and I met while traveling through Kathmandu, Nepal. Baki is originally from Bursa, Turkey and graduated from the University in Izmir.
We are both open minded, well traveled, easy going, highly adaptive and down to earth.
I enjoy photography ( documentary life/ architecture/night), human behavior, informal economies, learning different cultures, travel, water sports and buddhism. Baki is a professional mountaineer (Alpinist) and enjoys hiking, trekking, skiing, backpacking and mountain sports.
We enjoy international cooking, creating fusions and the adventures of local street foods.
I am a Native English speaker; can also speak Spanish, Turkish, and a student of French & Italian. My husband Baki is fluent in Turkish, Zazaki ( Zaza) and is a student of English.
