Our family had the pleasure of staying at Steven's residence for a week while our younger son attended the Stanford Swim Camp. Truly a home away from home for us during that time, it's conveniently and centrally located on the San Francisco pensinsula, minutes from the Stanford campus, close to miles of hiking trails, outdoor preserves, and short day-trip distance from the City (as in SF), the Santa Cruz mountains, and the East Bay. The home was beautiful, clean, and relaxing, in a lovely quiet neighborhood where the deer roamed free in the early and late hours of the day. We spent virtually all of our time enjoying the beautiful kitchen, sunny dining area, and quiet back yard. The only downside was that we couldn't stay longer. Highly recommended!
The house is great, it's in a quiet residential neighborhood, the small back yard and the balcony are very pleasant in the morning and evening. You can tell from the kitchen that the owners like cooking, so if you like to cook you'll find everything you need there. I stayed with my kids and my mother, both liked the hot tub.
The only issue that happened was a leak in one of the bathrooms, but I called Steve and he had someone fix it within the day, so the inconvenience was minimal since we just used the other two bathrooms for that one day.
