Wylie's place is great! It's exactly like the photos and was perfect for our quick 2 day trip - wish I could've stayed longer. Wylie was super easy to communicate with and was there for any questions we had. Parking was tricky at night, but both Wylie and previous reviews mentioned this so nothing unexpected. Besides that everything was great, especially loved all the books and artwork - definitely would stay here again.
The place was just like the photos. Very modern and clean in a historic building indeed. Wylie was a great host. Very flexible to work with our late check in and check out. Parking was a pain, but that's was conveyed prior to our arrival. Honestly, being in DTLA, I expected as much.
Wylie's place is great! It was just enough room for two people. It's exactly as described and more! I don't even think he makes mention of the super cool, old elevator in his building! Additionally, it's within walking distance of The Wiltern so if you're in town for a show, Wylie's place is a great option!
Wylie's place is awesome--had an amazing stay just a few steps away from the savory delights of Koreatown!
Great stay!! The spot was perfect, exactly as advertised and exactly what I needed!! Will definitely be coming back here again
Wiley was great and super awesome. Before going to his place we communicated back and forth about questions I had. This was my first airbnb experience and it was perfect. The description was right on and he made my girlfriend and I feel so comfortable. The kitchen, the books, atmosphere, and speakers made this place super special. Parking is easy to find during the day but if you leave during the night to go out watch out cuz parking is a lot harder to find. Of course this isn't Wiley's fault or anything. Just a little heads up. His complex was cool and his place was clean and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!
Wiley responded promptly to all communications and met me at the door to show me in and around. He was super easy and friendly, helpful and his place was terrific. Thank you Wylie, so much appreciate it!
Wylie was super responsive to any inquires I had beforehand. He made checkin quick and painless and went on his way allowing us to get started on enjoying the area!
We loved the apartment and it's charm and kept thinking "hmm, I could live here"
His description of the unit was spot on. The street is quiet, and parking wasn't too bad - even on a holiday weekend. It was the perfect spot to relax and Wylie made me feel like my dog was just as welcome as any human.
I would absolutely stay here again!
Wylie was awesome! He was very responsive and accommodating, helping me out where he could and was generally a great host. His apartment is beautiful, charming, and very well-decorated with an impressive variety of good reads. I had zero issues checking in and out. Would definitely stay here again :)
As others have mentioned, Wylie's place is bright, well-decorated and very comfortable (I could sit on that expansive couch forever). The neighborhood is centrally located and up-and-coming (it reminds me most of the Mission district in SF when we lived there 10 years ago). While others have mentioned parking as an issue, we didn't find it too challenging (we found parking within a few minutes of looking).
Wylie is incredibly responsive and kind - quick to answer questions and was gracious when we had to unexpectedly leave a day early. (He offered to refund us a night which we declined since our early departure had nothing to do with his place and we didn't give him any notice).
Wylie and his girlfriend Stephanie stayed at my apartment for a weekend. It was great meeting them, they were both really nice and clean. Communication was great as well!
Hope to have them next time they come back to San Francisco.
Very kind and so easy to talk to. Flexible, generous and prompt in his replies. Mature and really easy going. It was a pleasure opening the house to such a kind traveler.
Fantastic guest, very handsome, a scholar and an athlete. I would have Wylie back any time. He left the place spotless and was respectful of the house rules. :)
Why would you stay anywhere else? Wylie is a charming, gracious and humorous host, and knows LA inside and out. His Koreatown apartment offers a central and convenient jumping off point for all your adventures, and a tranquil respite when you just want to stay in and unwind. Highly recommended.
