Absolute nonsense. At no point did Charlotte send anyone around to check on the issue of no warm water during my stay. Charlotte confirmed that the heating element was old and needed replacing, she even offered a full refund.
I did not ask Airbnb for any refund or reduction in rates, which I am quite confident they will confirm. I did write a letter of complaint to Airbnb after 3 days of having had tepid showers and Airbnb concluded, based on my correspondence with Charlotte, that I was entitled to a 50% refund.
Charlotte needs to be very careful who she declares as being criminal as she may very quickly find herself with a case of slander on her hands.
