The flat is in a nice location and is quite large and clean. Although we did not meet Nissim while we were there, he was always available to answer our queries.
One thing to keep in mind is there is almost no closet space and the house has a lot of the hosts personal items. There is also a considerable amount of noise in the morning from the family upstairs which was an issue for us but perhaps not a problem for early risers.
Nissim was an excellent host. He was in touch with us and answered all our questions promptly. The apartment is beautiful, clean and the location is excellent. The terrace is super nice and there is a lot of light. When I go back to Jerusalem I will definitely try to stay in Nissim's apartment again.
It's a lovely apartment in a very nice building in a quiet residential neighborhood. Street parking was easy (compared to NYC). Nissim was available for any small questions we had. A very good place to stay for a family visiting Jerusalem.
The reservation was canceled 103 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
We stayed in Nissim's appartment for 5 nights: his wife was so kind to buy some shopping for us since we arrived in Jerusalem on the Friday night and the shops would had been closed until the night after. She was so kind to arrange a little breakfast for us.
The house was clean and fully equipped, also well connected to the old town and city centre with a bus that stops just by the house.
I would reccommed it if some one asked.
We had a great and exciting time in Jerusalem. Our flat was great. I love staying at "real" apartments, just like Nissims, because it is a more personal experience and you get a glimpse of how people are really living in a specific city. Nissim had a lot of instruments in the living room: my dad even played the piano (of course not during shabbat)...
Our family was very happy with the 3 bedroom apartment in Jerusalem. It was clean and spacious and we had a wonderful time there. The location was very convenient for us. We would recommend this apartment to others.
- decent location
- 20 min walk to emek rafiam
- hot water was an issue
- good hosts
Emek Refaim is max at 7min walk- need to know just the proper way.
Hot water works on automatic clock,I just readjusted it to Guest preferences that all. never had complains about this
Great location with short walking to stores and market up the street. Many doors and windows to let in the breeze. Closet space limited.
Wonderful neighborhood in Jerusalem with easy access to grocery stores and an easy walk to a great set of restaurants and shops at Emek Rafaim,. We also found it a pleasant 30-minute walk to the middle of the city, and also an easy location to hail a taxi on the street. He apartment was clean and ready for us. Especially appreciated the fresh air balcony and the washer and drier after 10 days of travel. My only wish is that there had been a bit more space to put suitcases and to hang clothes. Other than that - a great spot in the Holy City.
wanted a super short notice booking for as cheap as possible with 4 kids.
sorry i couldnt do more than have someone open my flat up on xmas morning since i was not in the country.
the towels and sheets were straight from the dryer.
