I'm a cuban guy living in Venice with my wife Martina since 2 years.
I love to talk to people coming from different country, i love fishing, play football and a lot my country, Cuba.
I hope we can share beautiful moments togheter.
L'appartamento è vicinissimo alla stazione ferroviaria, quindi molto comodo. E' un monolocale quindi è l'essenziale per passare dei giorni a Venezia, ma per due persone va (website hidden) siamo trovati molto bene.
Maurice is very friendly and kind. Although his English was not so great, he had his lovely wife at hand to help- they both recommended some lovely places to visit, and great local tips!
The room was simple and perfect for what we needed. Hot water, towels a comfy bed and a little kitchenette was ideal!
Thanks so much for everything! Venice is an amazing place and Maurice helped make our experience even more wonderful :)
Maurice and his wife are wonderful people! They met us at the flat early so we could drop our stuff off and explore the city. Great tips on where to go and best places to eat. We were in Venice a short amount of time and his apartment is so close to the bus and train station which worked out well for our trip. This apartment is very basic but will certainly work if you are a no frills traveler.
The location of this flat was very convenient, close to the train station and water ferry stops. We found it easily and the check in process was great! The flat itself was a bit dark and damp (as was Venice while we were there) and so we both agreed that it would probably be an ideal place to stay in the hot summer months. It took a while to get hot water in the shower but was fine if we let the water run first before hopping in. The kitchen is small but fully stocked and we were able to cook a few meals during our stay (which was great because Venice can get expensive). The bed was a little stiff but otherwise comfortable. It was very dark at night ( the flat has windows at the front) and that helped us get in a few good sleeps. No wifi was definitely a negative but there is a nice cafe up the street where you can access it, for the price of a caffe. As we didn't have any issues with the flat we didn't see our hosts except for check in. If your looking for a good value, no frills, well located and private place to explore Venice this is the place for you!
Stayed end of Jan at here with my friend. 20's Asian.
Pros: Location was perfect. Just opposite of the Santa Lucia train station. To get there please follow what Maurice commented.
(I used (website hidden) map and did not work at all. Never use (website hidden) map at least to find this place. I was at weired area. My case took 1hr to get there by losting.)
Hot water for shower.
Cons(can be minor to some people): There is no hair drier and you need to bring one. No tolite paper & towel hanger. Just a one mirror in the bathroom. (Busy in the morning)
Not enough quantity of ammenities. Bring your own. Wash basin water water pressure was quite low and mostly not much of hot water came out. Shower booth was quite small. Not that clean bed spread.
To most people these woud be minor things but to me these made me somehow uncomfortable.
Cons(Major): Shower booth was clogged. Had to clean my hairs during shower for water drain.
Radiator did not work at all but it worked shortly right after shower in the evening. In the the midnight not worked at all. We were quite cold. In the morning it worked again after shower which was not helpful at all.
Great location, not too touristy but quite close to the train station so ideal place to start adventures and to 'get lost' in Venice. Maurice and his wife were very accommodating, we decided to extend our stay in Venice quite last minute so stayed here at quite short notice. The apartment itself is pretty basic, but has most things you may need for a short stay. Would be great if it had wifi. Overall an enjoyable stay.
Great location, nice and cosy flat and very welcoming guest !
Very nice one room apartment with cute decoration and furniture. It is located directly in front of the railway station so very convenient. We were welcomed with a breakfast and found also everything else we needed e.g. shampoo, towels, sheets. Thanks for a nice stay in Venezia!
We had a really nice stay in Cozy Habana in Venice. Maurice and his wife are helpfull and accomodating. Would recommend it to everyone who is looking for a nice, affordable and cozy place to stay in Venice.
The location was very convenient- and in a city that is a series of mazes, it was wonderful to be able to find it so easily and quickly. Martina met us and showed us around the place, answered any questions- she was very nice. There is no wifi, but she pointed out two cafes that have free wifi nearby. The studio was clean, and we enjoyed our visit to Venice.
Feel in Cuba while in Venice!
He's a very good friend's houseband, we met a couple of years ago and He's a person you can trust to!
Viva Cuba and it's happy people!
