Plenty of toys for kids.....the town house is really quite....We really enjoyed our stay....
We had a fabulous stay in Glebe. The house was perfect, and the locations tops. What a great neighborhood. Thanks so much Marle and Arne, couldn't have been better.
This was our 1st airbnb experience and it was a really good one. We spent 5 days at Marle and Arne's house and it was perfect for our family. We were considering a hotel for our stay in Sydney, but none of them really had enough space for some downtime and our active 3.5 yr old boy and 7 year old girl. Marle and Arne's home was everything we could have asked for - lots of space, toys and a backyard play area. Of course it also had all the great amenities to make you feel at home that you would expect. We were even pleasantly surprised to find the Sydney Herald on the doorstep each morning.
Their house is perfectly situated in Glebe. We rented a car for the time that we were there, but might not have even needed it - we were so close to everything in the Sydney area. The train station is a 2 minute walk away (right next to a cool park for the kids) and the cool little stretch of hip Glebe restaurants and shops were right up the road. Finding parking in the area was a tiny bit tricky from time to time, but the local parking passes that our cool hosts provided really helped us out.
We didn't meet Marle and Arne as they were away on a holiday of their own, but they left a super-cool house manual that answered 99.9% of any questions we had. We also met their neighbor friends who were really helpful with a few words of wisdom about the area when needed.
In booking their place, Marle was really quick to respond with any questions we had and because they have kids of their own we felt like they were really on the same page as us and were quick to anticipate any relevant issues.
We would highly recommend this house to anyone visiting Sydney. Especially those that have little ones. We would definately stay here again. Unless we move to Sydney ourselves :)
Only good things to say about this great house. Communication was easy and quick. We were provided with a house manual which was covered even the smallest things and that made it all so much easier. The house itself was great, especially because we have a little one. All child proof and great to have toys for him to play with. But even though it was a child friendly place, it was still a great place for adults. Relaxing outside on the deck or in the outside bath. Everything you need is there. Couldn't ask for a better location. Close to the light rail and close to shops and cafes. Darling harbour an easy 20min stroll away. Would definitely stay again!
We loved our stay at this Glebe terrace. It provided us for a perfect base for visiting Sydney. The house has everything you could need for a small family. Our kids loved the bunk beds, the toys, the outdoor bath and the small courtyard. We loved the well set up kitchen and adored the quirky stylishness. Most of all the location is unbeatable. It is only a short walk to Glebe Point Road for cafes, delis and restaurants (up a steep hill which helped us walk of the Christmas cheer). It is also mere steps to the light rail which puts all of Sydney at your fingertips. Our hosts left very clear and helpful guide to the house, a lovely welcome gift and a great guide to the local area.
Our hosts were very generous and even left a collection of tasty treats for us upon our arrival, just like a bnb experience! The procedures of the house were very clearly outlined so we were able to navigate the house, the appliances and the neighbourhood with great ease. Thanks Marle and Arne!
