Lovely little house a short walk into town with some cute local fruit and veg stores on the walk from town. Tons of space for relaxing both inside and outside. The patio outside the main house is a particularly nice spot to sit and chill. The bungalow is also very sweet, and it can comfortably sleep 6 (although the 2 in the living room will not (email hidden)).
Downsides are that it is a little dark in the house, it is actually about a 30min cycle ride to the beach (lots of people cycling though) and it can be a bit noisy at night (dogs, cockerels, cars).
Still recommended though :)
PS - Tip: avoid Rincon Pablano restauarnt at the crossroads with the main street. Horrible, rude service, and disgusting food.
super cozy little house, we enjoyed our stay.
Erika is extremely friendly, flexible and accommodating and her handmade house is lovely. Located more on the outskirts of town it was more quiet and rural compared to another place we stayed in downtown Tulum. However, we were there on a Saturday night and the next door neighbor BLASTED music all evening until after 11pm. No way to escape it except for earplugs - not very conducive for relaxation or romantic connection. But Sunday night was quiet. Always a good idea to bring ear plugs to Mexico if you're not used to dogs barking and roosters crowing at all hours.
The house is unique and beautiful, a bit spare but elegantly so. More towels would be helpful. The spiral shower is really fun! Found a massive spider in the bathroom so if you're squeamish about bugs, this may be to rural and open of a house for you. But again, gorgeous house, good location away from downtown and a quick drive to the beach.
Erika was exceptionally accommodating and lovely to deal with and we loved the house. Thank you Erika!
