I am a very much traveling guy, that like to share ...
It was definitely a pleasure staying at Aaron's place. The apartment is tiny but extremely cozy. It's a beautiful starting point for exploring Paris and if you don't have any idea, Aaron can give you good advices, he is very experienced. Just don't hesitate asking him. I can definitely recommend staying at his place, there is nothing you will miss.
Best part of this experience was the prompt, thorough communications with Aaron. His emails came quickly and were full of detailed information--even maps and photos to help us find our way around,
The apartment is TINY (but this is an American talking). It had everything we needed, though, including fridge, toaster oven, stove and coffeemaker so we could make breakfast and snacks.
Since it was January, I was concerned it might be cold in the apartment, but the heater made it very cozy and warm when we came in from the rainy outdoors. Being able to see the Eiffel Tower from the window is a nice feature! Aaron's friend, who helped us with the keys on arrival and departure, was extremely hospitable and helpful as well.
I recommend this place, especially for someone who doesn't mind a very small space or climbing six flights of stairs.
Aaron was a very friendly host. He was not able to be present during our arrival but he arranged a 'key-pickup' in a bar nearby so that was a good and helpful solution.
His house was not very big (as expected after seeing the pictures) but cosy and actually we liked that fact, giving you the real Paris feeling. A nice place to stay with everything you need and we liked the view (Eiffel tower and Sacre Coeur both just visible).
We were able to do everything by foot thanks to the central location of the apartment. Parking in the direct neighborhood is not very easy/cheap, but there are several parking garages quite close were you can park for around 30E per day.
We would definitely consider to stay in Aaron's apartment the next time we visit Paris.
The flat was lovely, Aaron was a star- he met us at the station and gave us the keys as he was heading out of town. He even left some fruit and stuff in the flat. The studio was very small but just fine for a couple/singleton, you can even see the Eiffel Tower from a distance! One word of warning: do not take the stairs lightly! 6th floor walkup is tough going if you're doing it more than once or twice a day!
Very cosy and in a perfect quiet area in the center of Paris. Everything was clean when we arrived and we had everything we needed. Very good communication, even though we didn't get to meet Aaron everything went smooth. The view from the roof was nice, you could see the Eiffel tower and the tip of the sacre coeur!
Great studio with abundant sunshine, as is said in the description. Didn't meet Aaron himself but his friend who helped me check out was also really nice and showed me the fastest way to catch a train at Gare du Lyon. Smooth check in and check out, convenient location. Place is really small on the 6th floor without lift, so maybe not suitable for two people with large luggage.
Cosy et pratique!
Aaron est bien sympa et est même venu me chercher au métro. Il est très arrangeant, et c'est parfait!
Amazing! The apartment is tiny, but clean and practical. We loved it. Aaron is extremely communicative and flexible; the perfect host!
Merci beaucoup!
This is my first airbnb, and I am hooked! I had a great stay at Aaron's place - the location is excellent (it is in an area with lots of food shops, restaurants, and cute stores, and it is easy to walk to a lot of Paris sights, Gare du Nord, etc.), the view is lovely, and the flat had everything I wanted (comfy bed, well-equipped kitchen, wifi... I cooked every night.) and it was very clean and welcoming. Aaron was a generous and friendly host, responded quickly to all my emails, and gave me a city map and suggestions for markets, cheese shops, etc. Check-in and check-out went really smoothly as well (even though my train got in a little late), and he even left a chocolate on the bed to welcome me!
