I travel with 4 persons and stay at Ezgi's place. Ezgi it's a really good host. She will make you feel like in your own house.
The tourist area it's just couple blocks away.
If it's your first time in Izmir you should ask Ezgi for the directions. If you follor them, it's no way you will get (website hidden),
Staying at Ezgi's house was really nice. She and her husband are so friendly and I enjoyed the time very much. Thanks for hosting us.
Ezgi and Emanuel were great hosts, we really enjoyed our time in Izmir.
The house is wonderful, although in winter a bit cold. They have good heating but unfortunately it's per room, meaning you mostly stay in the heated room, which takes a bit a away from the sociability. However, that was more us than them because they are very sociable. Ezgi even took us out with her friends one night, which was a nice experience.
Ezgi has some great recommendations for sightseeing and eating: we especially enjoyed the Kalabalik Meyhane :)
Ezgi and her husband are easy going, helpful and good hosts. We stayed for four nights and had a good time. The greek house is dream full and very central located. Our room was clean and we had everything we needed and had good conservations with Ezgi and her husband. We had also a parking space in front of the house. All in all it was great, thank you Ezgi and Emanuel :)
Ezgi and her husband were great hosts! Very warm, friendly, and eager to share their love for Izmir. The room was clean and comfortable, and the house was beautiful and historic. Easy walk from the metro.
Undoubtedly a great place to stay in Izmir. There are already plenty of positive reviews to prove that. Just to share our own experience.
We came to Izmir simply for catching the flight to Istanbul so we didn't have any sightseeing plans. Ezgi gave us information and highlights of the city and in the end we fell in love with this city. Moreover, Ezgi invited us out for live music with her friends in local bars where we could experience the authentic night vibes of Izmir and had great conversation with the locals.
On the morning before we left, Ezgi bought us wonderful sandwich and we sat down together next to the fire place to enjoy our breakfast. Ezgi is more than a host; she made us feel at home, creating a place where we could truly relax and enjoy.
Ezgi is very kind and ready to help.
The Greek house is very charming and located in the very center of Izmir so you can visit the city as you like. It's very close to many markets and shops. A perfect place to stay in Izmir!
Ezgi and her husband were perfect hosts. They try to make you as comfortable as possible. Would also definitely recommend their house. The location is great for public transportation and is at the center of the city. Regarding the prostitution house which was mentioned in the previous comments, it is a totally safe area. I had no unpleasant experience.
Ezgi and her husband were great hosts. Ezgi answered all our questions and made sure that we have everything we need in the house and even more! They were really friendly and nice to talk with. The listing is accurate, the house is very easy to reach and easy to find. The house itself was also very lovely and we really liked staying there. They neighborhood is lively, at walking distance to transportation, waterfront and to pedestrian streets with cafes, restaurants and bars. Unfortunately, we stayed only one night. Next time we are in İzmir, we would definitely stay there again.
We were only a few short days in Izmir but Ezgi did a great job meeting our group and showing us around. However, there were a few problems with this place. First of all, the house is located right next to an obvious transvestite prostitution house. They are out on the streets at all hours of the night and they can get pretty aggressive. In the house, the heat was not very good and the electricity went out on us a few times. The wifi is very very weak. All of that said, Ezgi is a very sweet lady and the house is very close to the walking street, which is a good location.
Ezgi and bf stayed at out home for 3 nights. Communication was a breeze and they are really nice people. The room is left clean after check out and they waited for me to get home for check out. Definitely recommend them as your guests! :)
Ezgi is of a grate and strong character suc as kind, helpfull, honest and etc. Besides She is also easy going. Her house is wonderfull. If you wish to stay historical place and want to have a fine time definetly you should prefer this house.
