Thanks for your feedback. I work hard to provide a great experience for my guests and am sorry yours was so unpleasant. I appreciate hearing of any problems a guest may have so I can fix them.
I have had several people "smell" the room for cat odors and could find nothing. The cat very rarely goes into that room so I was surprised that you smelled cat. He "goes" outside so there is no smelly box. This remains a mystery.
I have a picture of the house taken from the end of the driveway so that guests will recognize it when they arrive. Also there is a number on the house and on a sign at the front of the driveway. Of the 200 or so people who have stayed here, no one has had a problem finding the house. Still, I will post a picture of the driveway entrance from the road. Hopefully that will prevent any future guest from wandering the neighborhood.
There is a family living here and that means there will be some noise. I do make an effort not to be overly loud late at night and generally this is a quiet household. I asked the Harvard grad student who is staying here if he knew anything about loud sound. He is quiet as a mouse but that evening he was talking to his parents on the phone. I apologize he disturbed you. In future I make a point of asking my guests to let me know if they have a problem with something. That way I can do my best to make things right.
