New Orleans is my favorite place on the planet - I hope you love it here too!
The house was lovely and near by the charming area of Bywater.
Anita was a great host who was very helpful, she had even created a little guide book of places to go eat, sight to see and some great music venues.
The house itself was in close walking distance to some great bars and cafe's.
Enjoy your stay here.
My stay with Anita was perfect! Anita was super helpful, accessible, and kind. I would definitely stay here again. Anita's recommendations gave me an amazing NOLA experience. I also had so much fun with Anita's friendly shepherd, Kyo!
Anita provided really thoughtful and helpful information to prepare us and host our stay, with informative communication and a binder full of details about things to do in NOLA. We had no issues accessing our place and there were clean linens, some refreshments, and toiletries for us to use during the visit. The location was a little bit off the main area called the Bywater, as you do have to cross St. Claude (a busy boulevard) to walk over to restaurants and shops. I would advise that if you want to spend your time near the quarter or uptown, you will need a vehicle. During our stay, it mostly rained, so bike rental did not work out, but otherwise, we had everything we needed at Anita's place and enjoyed it.
Well, well, lucky you if you are staying at Anita’s place.
Your potential host is one of NOLA’s most charming inhabitants.
You will also be looked after by Kyo, an equally charming shepherd dog.
Seriously, I totally recommend Anita if you are thinking of a place to stay in NOLA.
She will provide advice on where to go and visit (non-touristy places, the real stuff).
Anita is very kind, we had a nice stay at her place.
She made a book with all the good adresses in her neighborhood (we tried too and we liked them !).
Thanks again !
Anita had a beautiful house in a great location, a great personality, and her numerous recommendations really made our trip!
Anita lives in Bywater which is a great neighborhood to check out in order to see a less touristy part of New Orleans. She has a great guide book that we used often which is full of recommendations of restaurants, bars, and other neat places to visit! She clearly knows the area well and was a very easy going host. Her dog is really sweet and the house is comfortable. We had a great time and would recommend the place!
Anita is a wonderful host, and her place is very nice and clean. She really paid attention to a lot of details that will make your stay a very good experience. Anita also knows very well New Orleans and will give you very good advice on restaurants and activities!
We loved staying with Anita in her beautiful and simple shotgun home in the Bywater. Anita was super welcoming and flexible with our last minute request to stay with her. The house is very peaceful and well-organized which provided an oasis to come back to after a long day of sightseeing and walking. Anita's home is located just a few blocks away from a very up and coming neighborhood with restaurants, bars, cafes. It is a slightly longer (and beautiful) walk to Frenchman Street where late night music and nightlife can be enjoyed. My boyfriend and I were completely charmed by New Orleans and loved staying with Anita.
Anita was a very easy going host and gave us a lot of helpful information for the city. I definitely enjoyed staying there - it was a great experience for this being my first time on Airbnb.
