Gez and Anne were an easy going friendly couple to host. Really enjoyed their company and the natter during breakfast along with a Pot of Yorkshire Tea....Lovely to meet you both.
Gerald and Anne are a very engaging couple, widely travelled
and easy to relate to.
A delight to have them as guests.
Hope they keep in touch
A very pleasant couple, easy and interesting to talk to. When they arrived, Gerald and Anne looked familiar, although we could not immediately place them. However, it transpired that we had met them some weeks before, briefly, at a village film show we attended when we were on holiday in Yorkshire. At the time, we struck up a conversation about the film showing - 'Mr Turner' and during the conversation, (possibly because Mr T goes to the seaside and stays in a guest house), mentioned that we were on airbnb! It was obviously serendipitous as co-incidentally their subsequent plans required a visit to our area and so they looked for us and booked! It was a lovely surprise and really super to meet such a nice couple again. They were considerate guests and we found we had much in common with regards to house decoration and solar power! We would be very happy to welcome them back to our house for another stay if they ever came back to this area and recommend them to other Airbnb hosts. However, we can't promise any Turner paintings in the bedroom....just my own attempts!
Very personable family, polite and very easy going, would welcome them back anytime, left the space clean and tidy!
Gerald rode in out of the sunset on his trusty steed :] and shared stories of the road over dinner.
He was on an exciting cycle ride to London has inspired us to get out on our bikes too
He was a great guest and we welcome him to the world of hosting
