Mark was good at communicating and responded to me on time. The place was good for many reasons: centrally located, easy to walk to downtown Napa, lush towels (and lots of them), clean and plenty of space. Some concerns were that we didn't know there would be a HUGE weight lighting area when you walk in that took up more than half the living area (it was not advertised, nor were there photos) and there was no TV. If there was more living space and a TV, then it would be the perfect place. But overall it was solid.
Thanks for your review Todd. The gym is pictured and mentioned in our listing. And no TV is listed too. Thank you for staying with us! We would love to host you again.
We stayed here with some friends while in town for a wedding in Napa. The house was very comfortable for 5 of us and Mark was a wonderful host. He made the check in and check out process very easy. Mark's place was in a great location- we could walk (or take a very short drive) into town- close to restaurants and coffee shops etc in downtown Napa.
The listing was exactly as expected. Great location in Napa, walking distance to everything in downtown Napa and convenient to the wineries. The bungalow was lovely, clean, and comfortable. Easy communication with Mark throughout booking the reservation, leading up to the trip, and for check-in. Overall a great experience!
This was the perfect place to stay for a Napa getaway. The host was amazing. The house was perfect for our group of 5 + baby. The neighborhood and vicinity was exactly what we wanted- walking distance to everything downtown Napa but also easy to have a car for any outings. We had the best vacation and didn't have any worries with the house. It was fully stocked with the essentials and had great towels, bedding, and just enough space and storage to stay for 5 nights. It was easy to check in and check out - the process was just seamless. Thank you so much for offering your place!
Communication with Mark was easy and clear, right down to leaving the keys for our arrival. The house was PERFECT for what turned out to be 5 ladies! Tons of space, and even a gazebo in the backyard. The kitchen is well-stocked, and we had no concerns regarding the size of the fridge as another post mentioned (I live in an apartment in SF, and my fridge is the same size - it's not like it was a dorm or office fridge). The bathrooms are also well-appointed, with lovely fluffy towels. Oh, and if you spill wine on your favorite sundress, there's a full-sized washer and dryer too.
I'm actually kind of glad there was no TV; the time we spent at the house we all chilled in the kitchen anyway, sitting around the large table, talking, eating, drinking and playing games we had brought with us. There's also an external speaker to plug into your phone or tablet (the cable is included), so we could have some background music too.
The location was perfect: ample parking, walking distance to all the bars/restaurants/shops of downtown, and a bus stop right across the street.
I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a terrific Wine Country weekend!
We really enjoyed staying at Mark's place during our visit to Napa. The house was beautiful and slept 6 of us comfortably. The location was absolutely perfect and in walking distance of downtown. Personally we felt the neighbourhood was very nice and the house itself was very well equipped. There is no air conditioning but we did not find this to be a problem, once the windows were opened the place really cooled down. Mark was great and easy to contact for questions throughout the visit.
Recommend this listing for those visiting Napa!
Mark was very nice and made checking in/out very easy. Home is located in walking distance to downtown Napa.
The location is awesome if you need access to downtown Napa- easily walkable, which was great! It is the downstairs garden unit and I feel the description was very accurate. There's definitely a pretty full-on gym/workout space in the living area when you enter, which we didn't use, but it was expected. Our group was out and about most of the weekend, but everyone slept comfortably, the house was very clean and there were plenty of towels and extra bedding. Mark made it easy to get into the unit and was available for one of my friends who wanted to take advantage of using a bike to get around to some wineries. Overall, excellent experience for what we needed! Thanks Mark.
Super convenient location that is walk-able to the Napa Valley wine train with plenty of on-site parking. For the price, I was expecting a full-size fridge. The mini-fridge was inconvenient for our party of 6. The linens were great and very comfortable and soft. Not having a TV was not a problem, although wifi would have been great as we didn't get great cell-data reception in the space.
The host, Mark was very helpful and friendly. We paid $986 for a two night stay and we were expecting a nicer unit than this. The ventilation in the rooms do not work too well so we had really bad sleep over those two nights. The kitchen does not come with waste disposal, does not come with a dishwasher, it does not have a full size fridge (only has a bar fridge). And there is no TV. The house is not located in a nice neighborhood, suggest checking out on google earth before booking (unfortunately, we did not do that).
