The condo was as advertised in appearance and was comfortable. The pool area is small but has nice furniture to relax in. Our only real issue with the condo was that the power went out in the neighborhood grid for about 4 hours our first night there. It came back on eventually. The shopping center up the street did have generators so we were able to go there for dinner.
The condo's location is a few minute walk to a shopping center with a grocery store, Wendy's, bank ATM, liquor store and a really good pizza restaurant called Marco's. Marco's delivers or you can eat in there. They also have subs and delicious salads. However, the beach across from the Condo is not a tourist beach and rocky.
We caught the Number 10 bus each day down to Junkanoo Beach, which is where the cruise ships and tourist come. There was plenty to eat and drink in this area and the beaches were nicer. The bus is only $1.25 per person, which is much cheaper than taking a taxi down there every day. The bus ride maybe took 15 minutes.
Kendanique, the property manager for the condo, was very hyelpful. She gave us starter toilet paper and paper towl supplies and drove with us to the condo. He was easily accessible throug the Air BnB app when we had questions. The condo had free Wifi as well as a phone for local calls and a phone for calls to the US and Canada. Overall we had a good experience even though we weren't staying in the tourist area.
Lastly, you should check out the Twisted Lime and Sandyport/Old Town area. If you walk to the left of the Condo, it is about a 10 minute walk and there are nice shops there on an inlet. The beach across from here was not as rough as across from the Condo itself if you wanted a closer beach.
the home we originally confirmed wasn't avail but the host made arrangements for a new spot in great location close to local hot spots and only few miles from paradise island w/ private pool and took us to grocery store before check in. had some wifi connection issues but over all the experience and vacation was awesome will definitely come back soon!
The condo was everything that I expected and was described perfectly. It was ready at check in time and my friends and I really enjoyed our stay.
We stayed 2 nights at the end of our vacation in April. The host was nice throughout the process but we were not impressed with the overall experience and will not be staying again in the future for the following reasons.
When we first arrived we noticed an ant problem and as we were packing up today we saw centipedes that left us feeling very unclean. We had to wash our own sheets and make up our beds and the quality of the bedding was low with a ripped dust ruffle in the first bedroom. We had to wash the dishes and glasses before using them because they were finger printed and not clean. The cleaning team was not pleasant when they came back to do the job they didn't do the first time. The towel rack is coming off the wall in the master bath. The dishwasher is not anchored to the counter so it pulls out when you open it and dishes slide out quickly when you open it. The refrigerator rolls out when you open it. The silverware needs to be in a tray instead just tossed in a drawer. The drawer under the silverware drawer was broken and unusable. The locks on the doors going to the patio are very hard to use and they don't match up to lock securely. The shower door in the first bathroom doesn't slide well and the lights above the sink are not hooked up. You will need to bring these issues noted up to a higher standard. As well as having basics for visitors such as Kleenex and toilet paper. It would also be nice to have a coffee maker in the kitchen. It is nice to feel comfortable and "at home" when you're on vacation and we felt very uncomfortable and uneasy staying here.

The house was nice. We had a problem with ants the first night however they host came and fixed it the very next day. The beach is about a 15-20 walk from the condo. The neighborhood and nice and feels safe.
My wife and I and two young boys stayed at this condo for a week and really enjoyed our stay. It's spacious, nicely designed, conveniently located next to a grocery store, and allows you to experience the Bahamas as locals do. Unlike resort stayers who generally beach and eat onsite, we toured the island and visited great beaches and ate at fantastic restaurants.
On the negative side, you really need to rent a car to stay here. We thought we could taxi it around at first, but by morning we learned that was a mistake. Even though there is a beach right down the street, it's small and offers little. It's better to drive down to Sandyport, Jaws or Love beach. You could take a taxi, but for us, a rental car was cheaper and gave us the freedom to move around at our leisure.
As others have written, the place is not well stocked. It has the basics, but you might need to buy extra trash bags, toilet paper, etc. The pool was a a bit of a disappointment too. The pictures looked nice, but in reality, it looked rather swampy. Despite, even if the pool did meet our expectations, we probably wouldn't have used it because we were at the beach all day, and dining at night.
Last, the acoustics in this place are really terrible. Everything is marble tile, so you could hear when neighbors two units over dragged their chair across the floor. When units above (we were on the first floor) dragged their chairs, it was crazy loud and annoying. When people entered the lobby, it was almost as if they were in your unit. It's very loud. Bring ear plugs or buy them at the local pharmacy.
All that said, don't let the negatives turn you away from this place. Just use this information to plan your stay. We would definitely stay here again.
The apartment was great. Nicely located in the sense that it was a quick walk to the food store. However, a little isolated in the sense that you couldn't walk to any of the more touristy and populated areas.

Overall, I had a great stay at the Cable Beach Luxury Condo. My group was welcomed by the staff and the host gave us a ride in her own personal car to the condo. The condo is exactly as pictured in the listing, the furniture was very nice, appliances are new, and the place was clean. Dishes and utensils were provided along with pots and pans for cooking. Bring your own toilet paper, condiments, hand/dish soap. The location is a bit farther away from downtown Nassau and most of the tourist attractions than we had expected. We spent about $20/person a day on taxis (although there is also a bus you can take for $1.25 each way). However, there is a nice quiet beach about a 20 minute walk from the condo where we spent most of our days. There is a grocery store and liquor store about 5 minutes away walking, but beware the prices for American snacks are quite high ($10 for a pack of Oreos!!) and the meat did not look very safe to eat. So we ordered pizza from Marco's pizza multiple times, located across the street from the grocery store and were not disappointed. The only complaint that I have was that the kitchen sink was leaking and we were unable to use it to wash the dishes. We also lost electricity on our last night there, the whole island was affected so it was not anyone's fault, but just know that it may happen and be prepared. The building does not have a backup generator, but luckily there were plenty of candles around the condo. Highly recommend this listing if you are looking for a chill relaxing stay with a larger group of people and don't mind traveling a bit to get to the tourist attractions.
