Gershon was supposed to arrive at an early flight and although it was explained to him that check in is *from* 8 am, he didn't seem to respect that. He could not board his flight on the original date, for visa issues, and expected me to make an exception for him on the 25th Dec - we celebrate xmas on the 24th till very late hours - the day he arrived at the same early flight. I also explained to him that we don't work on the 25th Dec as it is a religious holiday, but again, I made the exception for him and did not cancel his reservation when he could not arrive on the agreed date.
I find it interesting that he held that against me, when I showed up on time - the time we agreed according to what I had explained to him and according to what it is clearly stated in the add of the apartment - .
He wrote a nice note to me, he seemed to enjoy his stay, I spent an hour with them at check in, explaining about the city, when I had only slept 2 hours that night.
So it surprises me that he was upset about me not being that at 5am waiting for them at the apartment.
The apartment was left in perfect shape at the end but I don't like to work for people who are not appreciative of the efforts we make to accommodate their needs and who won't take no as an answer.
