I use to backpack a lot, ((website hidden)). Now I am in Florence working for a fashion e-commerce and I keep travelling through my friends coming to visit me!

The ONLY downside about my stay at Camilla's place was that I was only able to meet her on the first day and then not spend more time with her. She was very busy. Her house is spotless and lovely and my room was perfect. I loved the hot shower. Its a great location and next time I'm in Florence I will be sure to contact her so that I can visit again! Thank you Camilla!
Camilia's place was kinda close and little bit out. The place downstairs is very tidy and homey. The only thing I was unwell for a few days on my own and the room need to be well air in summer time. Other than that, it's ok....
I had the most wonderful stay! They have the most beautiful place that is very central. You can easily get to anything by walking! It was fantastic to have my own bathroom too. Camilla was very helpful, and so nice and chatty (even though we didn't get to chat nearly enough because of our opposite timetables).
I felt very at home (I especially loved the piano!) I certainly recommend this place to future Florence go-ers! It's pretty spot on :)
It was a really pleasant experience! I really enjoyed the relaxing and quiet atmosphear that the room provides. Thanks Camilla and David for your warm welcome.
Camilla's place is very beautiful, warm, quiet and safe at all. that is easy to reach (by bus) also. Her boyfriend and she are very nice person. Btw I was surprise that we all love and enjoy Japanese culture. I very enjoyed my staying at her places as well as in Florence.
Thank you Camilla for your hospitality.
This room is a little paradise in Florence. Not only is it clean, welcoming and comfortable, but moreover Camilla and David are attentive hosts who gave me lots of good advices. The room is located just outside the tourist areas that allow access to restaurants, grocery stores and pubs at reasonable prices, but it is not too far so all great locations are easily accessible on foot or by bus. If I ever return to Florence, I will return again ther without hesitation.
Camilla was a very warm and welcoming host! She gave me some great suggestions when I arrived for spots to check out on the less touristy side of the Arno and even invited me to a party she was checking out that week. Her space is as advertised -- quite private and a perfect size for a single traveler. I wish I could have spent more time chatting with her and Davide, and certainly will ring them up next time I'm in Florence.
Do you want to stay in Florence like a local? Camilla's place is perfect. Located in a residential neighbourhood close to public transport, the river, and walking distance to incredible restaurants and bars off the beaten tourist track, her little room with ensuite bathroom is everything the single traveller needs. It's also about a 20 minute walk to the centre of Florence and the sights you came to see.
Camilla herself is a welcoming host who was scarcely there during my two-day stay. Her apartment is quiet and though the room itself spartan (mattress on the floor) it's got a skylight, fan and all the basics to make it cozy.
Camilla and her boyfriend were very friendly and willing to help us find our way, despite the fact that she had the flu. She even got a map and circled places and drew lines to show the best route there. As another reviewer wrote, the matress was very thin and uncomfortable. The listing says that the room is better for one person than two. My husband and I did think the room was small, but it was plenty big enough for us to stay a few days. Also, the listing says that smoking is allowed, but we were surprised at how much they smoked.
Camilla is an energetic and intelligent person who I was lucky enough to work with for a while in the fashion industry in Florence. She has a unique world view and lots of interests - I especially was interested in her knowledge of Japan where she has travelled extensively - not to mention her language skills! I could only imagine that staying with her would be a positive experience, and I am sure she is attentive to her guests. I can highly and honestly recommend her.
Staying in Camilla house is really a fantastic experience! She is a perfect host and the place is really a very good solution staying in Florence: very quite and 5 m. walking to the heart of the city!
