Yakir's place was a joy. We walked across the valley to the old city most days and were happy for the private parking. As he says it is a wonderful view, the patio was lovely.
Very beautiful and modern apartment. Pleanty of space for family of four. The view is amazing. Comfortable beds. Yakir was very helpful. We had to leave one day earlier because of very bad weather and he gave us a refund.
The apartment is beautiful in a great and quiet place. The view is awesome.
The apartment was really nice, with a fantastic view (better than in the pictures). The apartment was also very new and fresh, so it was a pleasure staying at Yakirs place. Yakir was available on the phone all the time if needed for any questions. We highly recommend his place.
Excellent location - convenient with spectacular view of Jerusalem. Warm with plenty of hot water. Sleeping 6 adults was a push as no-one rated the sofa bed. However, parent's room and bed were very comfortable. Kitchen and bathroom modern and clean. Plenty of frypans and saucepans but not enough bowls, cups etc. Overall an excellent choice and very reasonably priced.
I was travelling with my father and sister for a sightseeing trip and Yakir's place had plenty of space. The most stunning part was the huge window overlooking Jerusalem, it was even better than it looked in the pictures.
Up the road was an old train station that had been repurposed into restaurants and some fun shops which was cool. Whenever we started walking into Jerusalem taxis would stop and ask us if we needed a lift, we ended up doing it every time as it was so convenient.
The part I really liked was the kitchen which had a cafetière/French press, a Bialetti tuttocrema milk frother and a coffee grinder (blade). I could make coffee so easily in the morning while taking in the view.
The stairs on the way to the from door are decorated with plants which makes carrying suitcases a bit cumbersome. But they seem to belong to the neighbour below as they don't continue all the way up to Yakir's place. The neighbours welcomed us as we walked past and even helped point out the landmarks to us. This reminds me, the patio outside the front door is very spacious and offers an unobstructed view of the Old City. If the weather had been warmer I would have been sipping my coffees from there!
I will definitely look to stay with Yakir when I come back.
Yakir!
The appartement is wonderful with a splendid view on the old city. It is
perfect with kids. Every morning, we had the morning sun. Yakir was really quick in responding to us. With a car, we were just 5 min from the Jaffa Gate. And it was easy also to leave Jerusalem to other cities and sites.
This place and this host are amazing. We had a great time in Jerusalem. Interestingly, this place is steps away from one of the fanciest hotel in Jerusalem, for a fraction of the price. Everything worked fine. I was there with a small child and my brother. The host was very attentive to our needs and was incredibly responsive and helpful. Thank you!
