Hi Heather, we am very surprised by your review. You did not mention the heating problem to us. Communication is key when using airbnb. Perhaps there was a problem with the radiator in the building. The super in the building is very responsive. We agree that you stayed during historic low temperatures in New York this February but we would have still filled the apartment with heaters if we knew that you were cold at any point. We are very sorry you experienced discomfort during your stay.
You also did not mention you needed more toiletries than the ones provided (most guest bring their own). We literately have tons of toiletries in the closet for guest to use. A single email could have solved this issue. Again, in airbnb, you should always communicate any issues or concerns with the host instead of surprising them with a review like this when they can no longer do anything about it. When we met you we said "if you need absolutely anything please don't hesitate to ask" and we meant it.
