I once sat on a poisonous caterpillar. So if you are a poisonous caterpillar, I'd watch yourself around me. Otherwise, I'm a big goof and love to fuss over people :)

While Jamie was not home when we arrived she immediately made us feel welcome, she left clear instructions on how to enter the house and upon entering notes were left guiding us to our room.
The house itself is just lovely, it's a massive, huge, old mansion style house that Jamie is busy renovating. Our room was very spacious and the bed comfy. A gas heater is located in the room to make sure that you don't get cold on those cold nights.
Jamie is amazing! She is so open, friendly and helpful - she gave us loads of tips of places to go in Memphis, made muffins, cookies and even cooked us breakfast. Anything you need, she takes care of you. Don't think about it, just go to Memphis and stay with Jamie, you won't regret it!
This was my first AirBnB experience and I'm totally sold. The house was full of character, quirky, warm and inviting. Also the public spaces are nicely set up for socializing. It would be a great place for a group or just to make new friends of fellow travelers. The bed was just as cozy as could be. The bathrooms clean and accessible. But the best part was Jamie who is a fantastic kind and charming hostess with great advice and a cute puppy. We're already thinking of when we can find time to return and have a longer stay. Can't decide if I'm sold on Airbnb or I've had such a singularly great experience no one else will live up to it ;-)
What a delightful place Jaime has, so welcoming & pleasing, as she renovates her beautiful old home!
Nice big house near all the action in Memphis.
Best host ever!!!!
Jamie is so kind and accommodating! I've stayed w her twice and will def be back!!
Jamie is just a pro when it comes to airbnb. I arrived late on my road trip from ATX to NYC. She had everything ready for me. While, I refreshed she collected she made a quick suggestion list for the Memphis experience. She was on the spot, I had a great time before I went off to recharge. When I came back from my morning run she made me a fantastic authentic local breakfast. As I enjoyed my meal we talked a bit about everything. She is a bright and kind. Recommended for sure.
Jamie is thoroughly kind and attentive. The home is delightfully creaky, ramshackle, comfortable and oozes character. I wanted a pleasant stay in a charming place and that is exactly what I got.
I will definitely be looking her up again when I'm in Memphis. By hanks , Jamie !
Jamie was an excellent host and even packed me a trail mix snack for the road when I left.
I could not recommend staying here MORE. Super easy to find, key system is simple, house is clean and charming (boho fabulous!). We ended up getting an upgrade to a bigger room because of arrival timing - bed comfy, linens provided. Jamie offered us breakfast in the morning - don't forget to check her calendar. We were there on 'Ice Cream for Breakfast' day. Would definitely stay there again.
Sally and I had a fabulous time in Memphis because of Jamie and the old house on South Dudley. Agreed, the house is old and is in need of TLC that Jamie is providing, but the BB King bedroom was great, the bathroom is 30's style but functional, and the common area comfortable. Jamie was amazing. She helped us navigate the sites of Memphis giving us a list by priority of things to see and places to eat so that we could make the best of our time. She is also a great cook. She had delicious home-made pumpkin muffins and plenty of hot coffee waiting for us at breakfast. She was so accommodating to our two dogs traveling with us and volunteered to watch them while we toured in the morning. We highly recommend the Dudley Street BNB and will try to stay again when we come back to Memphis.
I did not meet Jamie Young personally but we had constant communications thru e mails and sms messages as she come to Tacloban City to help the typhoon victims. She joined the Red Cross helps organizations and stayed in the qaurters and tents of these helps organization thats why she was not able to stay in my house but she did not ask a refund for booked period she paid.
though our exchange communications, i found Jaymie a nice lady, kind, helpful and a very good Samaritan because she come to Tacloban City to volunter her help for the typhoon victims.
