I'm traveling for 4 months with my wife and kids. We're going all over the country on book tour for my wife's novel, which was published in April. We're car schooling the kids and seeing America--and a LOT of bookstores.
You can see a lot more about the book and particularly the national tour on my wife's website. It won't let me post links here, but her name is Jenny Milchman and the book is called Ruin Falls, so you can find it easily by searching the web. Check out the "Over the Falls Tour 2014" page in particular to see a map and list of cities where we've been and where we're going.
Her first book was called "Cover of Snow", and we went on a 7 month tour for that. The book did really well and went on to win the Mary Higgins Clark Award for best suspense novel of 2013. So maybe this touring thing is a good idea after all...
We're looking for a more settled existence now, but we will be going back on the road in Summer 2015, and probably 2016 too.
