We're an eco-friendly Lesbian couple in our 30s: a community college instructor and an architectural designer.
I moved to Seattle for a three month internship and was pretty nervous about housing. I decided to book the Artsy Greenlake Guest Room after a couple emails with Angela, who was very responsive and informative.
Having never seen the room or met the people I was going to live with, I was a little bit nervous. But soon after moving in I knew I chose well. Angela, Christina, and the rest of the family (pets included) were like a second family to me. The home was warm and inviting and the family was very welcoming. I loved hanging out with them just as much as I loved exploring Seattle and the great neighborhood they live in.
The house is in a great location, just blocks from Green Lake and surrounded by bus stops that can get you nearly anywhere. I also had a car during my stay, and was always able to find parking nearby.
I could not have asked for a better stay. Thank you Angela, Christina, and family!
I was in Seattle for the summer while completing a summer internship during my MBA. I stayed on the first floor in a bedroom with a bed, furniture, and closet.
Angela, Christina, and their little one were a pleasure to get to know. Very friendly and knowledgeable about Seattle. The location was fantastic. Very close to Green Lake and central to much of the rest of Seattle. It was perfect for my job that required me to travel to South Lake Union and Redmond regularly.
I really enjoyed my time with Angela and family. They had a ton of local fun knowledge and information to offer, and they know the Seattle area really well. I would recommend staying here!
I stayed with Angela and her family for 3 weeks, and Angela was an awesome host, her and her family are wonderful and really made me feel welcome in their home. Their home is great and the room I stayed in was huge, it was nice to have a bed, sitting area, and office area. This is a great value and an even better location. It was so nice to be a couple of blocks from Green lake and I tried to walk around it a couple of times of weeks, and it is easy to do when you are so close.
Part of the reason I chose airbnb over a hotel/motel was the exact reason I would recommend staying with Angela and her family. It is nice to be around caring people that go the extra mile to make you feel welcome.
Thanks to Angela
