I stayed at Lydia's home when my Dad had surgery at The Cleveland Clinic. Lydia was so kind to communicate with me, even though she was out of the country; and Mari responded quickly and favorably to any of my requests!! I felt well-taken care of!! The location was ideal to The Cleveland Clinic and short enough to walk. The house was clean, comfortable, quiet and inviting. Kitchen was stocked with cooking utensils to cook. The laundry room was so convenient to have on-site. The neighborhood was pretty typical for Midtown area. I always felt safe, and people were friendly. It was so nice to have the Health Bus Line stop only 1/2 block from the house, as well as a strip mall of shops including some take-out restaurants and grocery store. I worshipped at Liberty Hill Baptist Church directly across the street from the house on Sunday. It was an amazing experience, as well! Although I wish I had been in Cleveland under better circumstances, my stay here was made more comfortable. Thank you so much!!
It was a great experience my stay at Lydia's place. The host is very responsive. The house manager lives locally and she is available for key drop, check-in and check-out related issues. The house has fully equipped kitchen and washer and dryer in the basement (at no charge).
Internet connection is available but not always at maximum speed.
The place is at walking distance from Cleveland Clinic, you can actually see the clinic from the end of the road.
I stayed in room number #3, very small but it was all I needed for my first week. If you need something bigger, have a look at the bigger rooms.
I recommend Lydia's place for a temporary accommodation when arriving in Cleveland. This because at 3 minutes walking there is a grocery shop and other shops for eating or buying what you might need during your stay.
Thank you for hosting my mother for such an extended stay, Lydia and Mari. She was about to have a safe comfortable place during my father's surgeries and recovering. The short distance to the Cleveland Clinic made it very easy for my mother to conduct her business and visit with my father.
My stay at Lydia's place was great! The house and surroundings are very quiet and peaceful, that was all I needed. Also, there are a lot of places to eat close by, which is really comfortable. Thank you Lydia and Mari for preparing everything for me!
Lydia and her property manager Mari were wonderful! I was scared to leave my mother alone in Cleveland while my father recovered. My mother felt safe and Mari was there whenever she needed assistance. Thank you so much.
Lydia's home in Cleveland was home to me for an entire month while I worked at Cleveland clinic :) she and her manager made sure I was comfortable and in no time I felt at home.. It is a beautiful house, conveniently located with free parking. I highly recommend lydia and her home in Cleveland :)
The place is nice and the hosts are pleasant. The room is pretty big and clean. It's close to Cleveland Clinic, you can walk (if there is not so much snow on the way). But the rent is a little expensive and the neighborhood is not nice, there are abandoned houses around there.
I needed a place walking distance to the Cleveland Clinic and Lydia's place is about an 8-10 min walk from the main entrance, which was great. Lydia contacted me since I booked the room (well in advance), which I appreciated. The house is a bit old, but that is the norm in the neighborhood and it is well maintained. The area is safe. My room had all I needed and was clean, with a big and comfortable bed. I shared a bathroom, living room and kitchen with a big fridge with another guest and never had a problem. Laundry room in the basement with washer and two dryers. Mari was always available by phone or text in case I needed anything. The neighborhood itself is not very lively, but its a short bus or car ride away from downtown or Little Italy. The orchestra is nearby as well, walking distance from the Clinic. There's a CVS and a grocery store within blocks away as well as a BK, McDonalds and Subway. I would stay here again if I needed to go back to Cleveland Clinic.
