Frank's apartment is very conveniently located, suitably bright, and minimally yet thoughtfully laid out. It has everything one person would need for a cosy couple of weeks stay. As described the cooker was not functional yet but that's not a problem as there are plenty of eating choices nearby. Note that there are no curtains as of my writing this review, but privacy is not a problem because the apartment overlooks a little Japanese style garden and no one can see inside. Overall a very convenient and comfortable stay!
I ended up extending my stay here hence the double feed-back. What more can I say - a great spot and a great apartment.
Arrangements to pick up the key were smooth and punctual.
The apartment is in a superb area with many great restaurants and bars in the surrounding area. The street itself even has quite a few clothes boutiques.
In both directions there are subway stations nearby as well as a tram stop.
Nice courtyard downstairs that even has a small BBQ grill.
Plenty of books, a piano and a handy washing machine.
But above all I like the area it's in. I prefer to be central with local people and local restaurants nearby rather than hotels and office blocks and tourists.
Frank is a perfect host and guest. He is an aesthete with soulpower. Reliable, honest, earnest and witty at the same time. His apartment feels like a tidy little tree house right in the middle of Berlin. Located in the backyard of the fashionable Mulackstraße it's the perfect hideaway after an exciting day of shopping, art seeking and socializing in one of the many coffee shops & bars around. Special bonus: his highbrow library.
